Our B and B host Jo of Dale and Jo's said walking through Creamer's field is one of the most peaceful tranquil experiences in Fairbanks and she was right. We walked on the well groomed paths through the boreal forest and on the banks of the snow covered lake for about 2.5 miles. So quiet - all we could hear was the sound of our boots breaking the snow on the path. Yes, do this.

There wasn't much wildlife to see this time of the year. It was a beautiful time to walk the paths through the snow. Saw many people on sleds and ski's being pulled by their dogs over the snow.

Visited in the winter ad the trails are fantastic and peaceful. I am sure it is beautiful in the summer also, Hoping to see some wildlife on future hikes during my stay. Worth the visit. Sure a hangout for the moose by the lake in the summer.

It's not the most beautiful area in Fairbanks, but it's cool that he birds are there all the time. If you want to get out of the house for an afternoon, this is a good place to go.

This is a long boardwalk and trail around an area where migratory wildfowl land. Easy access from the highway -- and not far from Billie's Backpackers' Hostel, if you're staying there. Definitely worth going to, especially if you're in the area anyway.
