This is free and one of the few things to do in Fairbanks so it's worth a stop if you have some time to kill. We were there at the end of August so there were lots of birds. A very tiny "museum - visitor center" but worth a peak.

Not much to see. Just a small display in main house. Sandhills cranes were there along with ducks. Due to rain, we were limited on where we could walk.

I am not too knowledgeable about birds, but I was surprised how many different types we could see just standing there for 15 mins. It was a lot of fun, make sure to come with someone who can point out the different types you can see there. The whole idea is that the dairy farm that went out of business gave it to be a refuge for birds and that is the whole point.

Lots of Cranes in the fields, Take the 2 mile nature walk. You may see a moose. A small museum is on this location as well.
Our family enjoyed the walk in the woods on well groomed easy walking trails.

700 Sandhill cranes on August 24th. Interesting to see them dance (jumping in the air). Wonderful place for a refuge.

Was expecting more with reference to the former Diary farm. There is a beautiful barn that is not open to the public and more information on the site and personal would have been appreciated.
