This park had a lot of positives, but 2 major negatives being aircraft noise and pretty ordinary shower facilities.we stayed 3 nights in a motor home, everything at the site worked well, very good wifi and really it's a great park beautiful waterfront area. The sites were large and included table and chairs, the big question would we stay here again? Probably not, if this park didn't have aircraft sounding like they were landing beside our motor home. If this park was anywhere else I would definitely stay again, but this is not the case.Good level sites as well.

I have stayed here three times. I am a car camper and have been pleased with the facilities, in general. However, the tent sites appear very small and the Wi-Fi does not seem to work well unless you are lucky enough to get to use the ethernet service. The laundry and the bathrooms were nice. The staff was friendly and the river scenery was nice. I would be happy to stay here again when I am in the area.

We stayed 4 nights in mid July, then another 2 nights the end of the month. Very clean, private sites. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean restrooms and laundry. Great location. We will definitely stay here again, and refer our friends!

We stayed for one night in July of 2013, if not for this campground our trip up to Fairbanks would have been a bust. The sites are pretty private, we asked to change to a different site in front of the river and were accommodated. The campground offers amazingly clean( free) showers, hair dryers at every sink. The laundry facility is large and reasonably priced. There is a store that offers gifts and necessities. There is also a restaurant located on the property with waterfront outdoor seating. The meals were pricey, but large portions and delicious. The resort is clean, well maintained and decorated. We had a 32 ft RV with full hook-up. Family of 4, kids ages 10 and 12. Highly recommend.

We stayed here 3 nights in July 2013. It's right on the Chena River, with wide, open sites that make it easy for a big rig (ours is 40 feet) to get in and out. The park is clean, with grassy sites, trees for shade, with all the amenities you could want (including a free vehicle wash!), and a friendly helpful staff to boot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it for other RVers. It's well worth the somewhat pricey $42 a night we paid - since we paid similar rates for gravel parking lots in many towns along the Alaska Highway. If you don't havenan RV, the affiliated River's Edge Resort has a number of charming cabins that look like they would be ideal for a few nights or longer. There's even a restaurant-- Chena's Alaskan Grill - within walking distance of the park and overlooking the river. It looked like a very nice place for a drink or dinner, with seating inside or outside on the deck.

Room Tip: We did not have a site overlooking the river, but you can easily walk to it. Not sure I'd want a...

We stayed here for one night on May 24, 2013 but wished we could stay longer (prior obligations prevented us staying here longer). The RV campground was just getting ready for the season but everything was open and operating even the flowers baskets were hung. Restrooms and showers were a 10. If you are in Fairbanks, this is the place to stay.
