not worth the price of admission for "tour". limited to one muskox near the fence. And a reindeer and caribou. We thought we would your the entire facilities. guide provided lots of facts about animals which was interesting. there are other places in town that you can see reindeer and caribou for free. bring bug spray, water, and a hat.

The tour cost $10 per person and last about 50 minutes. We had a very knowledgeable, nice young lady as our guide and that made all of the difference. You walk down a short path to the pens and the guide gives you lots of interesting, educational information. It is not a zoo, so the animals may or may not be close to the fence. We were lucky and got good views of all of the animals. I could definitely recommend this tour. It is best to take the early tour as the animals are more likely to be active.

Not much to see in the winter unless you bring your binoculars! it is not open and the animals are usually far away.

Have you ever seen a musk ox up close? They are very unique! Our guides fed the musk ox and reindeer so that we could see them more closely. It was a good side trip during the summer.

Even though it is winter and the summertime tours are not available, it was great to drive up past the U of a and see the musk ox and the reindeer running around in the snowy fields. would love to go back for the tour...
