Poor selection. Dried out. Looked like a dirty alley. Unkempt. Not worth the time it took to drive there. Hard to write at least 100 words about such a worthless place. Another pathetic place.

We had our wedding ceramony at the Botanical Gardens. The beauty of all the natural flowers, water fountains, and views of Mt. McKinley, best garden in Fairbanks.

We were amazed by the size and growth of plants! The employees were very knowledgable and went out of their way to answer any questions, explain different plants, etc.

We love visiting gardens and my wife admits she was not looking forward to seeing this one at the University in Fairbanks BUT was she surprised. It is large, full of colour, with an excellent children's section. I remarked that why go to New England when one can appreciate such magnificent fall colours in this far Northern city! and delphiniums, and roses, so full of perfume, sweet peas, and sunflowers-not what you expect in Alaska.
Not as well kept as say some Botanical Gardens but we did not mind. ,
