One of the nicest visitor centers we've been to. People there are super nice and helpful. They told us about the pipeline viewing area outside of Fairbanks.

This is a combination Visitor Information, Museum, and Public Lands office in a nice setting. The visitor information is good with great, helpful staff. The exhibits are very well done. You can easily spend over an hour at this center. The outside setting is very pleasant as well.

Why miss this place, it is free and full of information.

The persons love to share their love for Alaska.

You got to see the movie about the person who left everything to go live in the wild by himself at 52.... He spent over 35 years in the wild doing everything by his hands. That's an ode to a simple life and respect for Mother Nature.

This is a great place for information. They have brochures for just about everyone. The displays are very well done and the staff is great. Well worth a visit.

As the name suggests there is more to this center. Great place to start your trip to get background info or to end it to tie up everything you have seen & fill in the gaps.
