Had a great time at Janes Reindeer ranch. The Reindeerwalk was a wonderful experience. Pet the reindeers, take pictures with them, all the stories about them and delicious cookies and hot beverages afterwards were really worth it. Jane even has wintergear if you need more warm cloths.

This was one of the highlights of the trip of a lifetime. Super educational, but also immersive. I was traveling solo and our tour group that day was pretty large but there was plenty of time and space to interact with the reindeer, ask questions and take awesome photos. While it was only a little cold, Jane had supplies to make sure that everyone was comfortably outfitted to spend some time outside. You will not regret spending your time and hard earned dollars for this once in a lifetime experience!

Initially I thought the $100 entrance fee was kind of expensive, but it was totally worth it. The tour lasts around three hours. It was very educational without being boring. We started out playing with the reindeer and learning a little while waiting for the whole tour to assemble. We then moved inside to learn a little more as a group. Next we took a walk with the reindeer, stopping along the way to talk and learn a little more. At the end of the tour we assembled again to learn a little more and enjoy some coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cookies.

Jane and her staff clearly love what they are doing. It was great to see such majestic animals who are so loved and well cared for.

This was a wonderful experience! The reindeer are calm and friendly. Jane is engaging and shares a lot of anecdotal knowledge about reindeers. The actual walk (maybe 45 mins?) is framed by some safety and general intel first, and a post walk visit inside Jane's home that includes hot cocoa, yummy cookies, and more reindeer stories. This is a great tour for young and old. The walk with the reindeer is partially uphill, but it is gradual and slow paced. There are plenty of photo ops; the reindeer are literally walking next to you - and Jane and her fabulous assistants Elsa and Alex, make sure you have plenty of time for post tour photos with the reindeer. I've never seen this tour offered anywhere else. Fantastic!

We had a great time learning about the herd and the family that runs the ranch. The reindeer were so sweet and fun & the staff was very knowledgeable. It was so fun to play with these darling animals. I appreciated just how much this family cares for their creatures and could tell you all about each animal and their different personalities. Picture features Buttercup !
