Golfed the Gauntlet over Easter weekend and I must say it was one of the most enjoyable times we had. The staff and course are true professionals in the sport and in customer service. Good job Mike and Brian in helping me enjoy the sport again in Fredericksburg!!!!!

Course has a great layout and was in good shape. Greens fees were reasonable and the GPS system in the carts made the round a lot of fun.

There was one tee box that was in poor shape, but the others were all fine.

Traveled from Pennsylvania with a friend to play the legendary Gauntlet on 6 May and what a major disappointment. Great layout but the conditions of the course are inexcusable and does not justify $50.00 green fees, wouldn’t play this course again for more than $20.00. Can’t recommend playing this course in its present condition to anyone. Majority of the tee boxes are void of grass, just weeds or dirt. Nothing that 10,000 gallons of round up won’t fix. Save your money and play one of the other great courses in the area.

The Gauntlet is back... After talking with the infomative staff I learned about their tragic accident with a sprayer that had a bad chemical and took out 12 greens. From what I can tell they have done an excellent job with their. This course has the most character in the area. It's a must play!

I played the Gauntlet on May 26, 2006. The greens fees were $50 and I found the course to be in good shape with all new sand in the bunkers and a new GPS system. The greens were in good shape. This year I have played courses in Florida, California and Utah and would rate the Gauntlet as a good course and challenging.
