$9pp. The overview of the residents (sister of G. Washington, Betty, and her husband, Fielding Lewis) was very interesting...especially learning how Fielding poured his heart, soul, health and wealth into supporting the revolutionary war. The house tour is quick and information packed, with only the lower level of five rooms and kitchen outbuilding explored. The highlights, without doubt, are the gorgeous plaster ceilings. You will not be disappointed.

This beautiful house stood in a place of prominence when the city was young and while still beautiful, it is surrounded by old and new. Thankfully when my friend and I visited, it was too busy and we didn't have to be rushed through the house. I greatly enjoyed the house, but was a bit disappointed in our guide, who seemed a bit flighty and at times misspoke. I recommend that you do the combo ticket with Ferry Farm and see two delightful historic locales.

Our tour was very interesting. It was enjoyable to learn about the history of the house. The ceilings were amazing. Worth the tour to see them. Our guide, Ellen M. was very good.

The kenmore plantation is a stately and well preserved historic home in downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia. There is a nice museum on property, and beautiful gardens. What is really neat is the hvac which is run through the old chimneys through a geothermal system.

This was a very disappointing tour. The guide gave her personal options and there was not enough included in the tour to make up a full half hour. We were touring with a large group and several people left in the middle.
