We stayed at the Days Inn for one night on 7/29/06.My wife
found a prescription pill in the bed, thank god our grand kids didn't find it first and ingest it.The motel had people who were actually living at the motel. They even were barbequing outside their rooms and had taken the room chairs outside to sit on.Past 11 pm teenagers and children were still running past rooms yelling and laughing it was like a playground not a motel to rest from your trip. The management seemed to care less and the only comment we got about the pill was "sorry about that".Stay away from this dump I know we will.

My family and I stayed at the Days Inn Frederickberg on our way to Clearwater Beach Florida. We only picked it because we had a coupon, but unfortuanately, because of the fourth of July, it wasn't valid.

The front desk was very polite, and we got a room on the ground floor (which was a plus). The room (2 doubles) smelled a bit musty at first, but cleared up soon after with the A/C. The carpet wasn't exactly clean, but it was not of the matter- we were only there to sleep and shower. The beds weren't exactly firm (they were more or less squishy) and the pillows were 3" thick. Wasn't the best sleep I've had, but it was sufficient for one night. The pool was great, and the water felt good after 12 hours of driving.

In the moning, the hotel serves a Daybreak continental breakfast in the lobby. It consisted mainly of bagels and cereal, but it was fine, since we had to get on the road early. We were lucky to get a table, though- theres only four!

Overall, this hotel is OK. I wouldn't suggest it for long stays, but rather for one night stopovers for travelers on the I-95.

Let me start off by saying that this is the worst place I have ever stayed.
Driving in, you would think that this is a vacant property, with tall weeds, and giant pot holes in the parking lot--it gets worse. People sitting outside their rooms in plastic chairs, with their grills by their doors. There were 2 adults and 4 kids in the room beside us, very noisy, and obviously staying there full-time. I don't know if many of these people are Katrina refugees, or what. Going out early in the morning, I witnessed a woman at the back of the motel counting a huge wad of cash in her car. I was a little suspicious of her, but it got better that night. We witnessed a team of SWAT officers raiding a room right behind us with a battering ram and leading someone out in handcuffs at 10pm. Our room wasn't cleaned the second day of our stay--they said they don't clean every day. Obviously not. We had 18 people staying there for a wedding--no one else could accomodate us. The areas around the walkways are filthy, and the lawn area is filthy with beer bottle caps and dog poop.
I complained about the service and the conditions, but was told there was nothing they could do. They did bring us some clean towels the second day. Couldn't get coffee for our coffeemaker, as it is locked up by housekeeping at night. It was cheap, but that's about all I can say for it. Never again.

This had the cheapest of the coupons in the roadside books, so I gave it a shot. The desk clerk was a little rough around the edges. He apparently thought I was a regular guest and was surprised by the fact that I actually had questions about the property. But he got them answered and gave me a room that matched my preferences (ground floor, non-smoking). Everything in the room was properly cleaned, comfortable, and in working order. The main flaw is that the outer wall is very thin. I heard every door and motor loud and clear as my neighbors came and went throughout the evening. Fortunately, everything settled down at a reasonable hour and I managed some decent rest. The free breakfast was very basic, but plentiful with all products within their date range. Checkout was done quickly, correctly, and cheerfully.

If they remain among the lower priced properties in this town, I could take my chances with the thin walls and try them again.

We checked in on a Wednesday and did not recieve housekeeping until Saturday. We complained to the front desk Thursday and Friday and were assured management was made aware. After hearing nothing from management, we went to the office Saturday night, located the assistant manager who was rude and condesending. He told us we should have advised him of the problem prior to that moment. He denied recieving any information from the front desk staff and stated he had been there each night (from 11pm to 6 am) and that we should have sought him out sooner.
Be aware if traveling in a wheelchair, only one building is accessible by chair. One ramp is adequate, the other is steep. Also be aware that ramps are located next to unmarked parking and cars will park over ramps making access imposible.
