Husband and I stayed here for two nights and as previously stated its nicely situated for day trips into and around Boston. We found the subway a bit slow and seemed to takes ages to get into town but once there you could do everything you planned

Bedroom was of good size not en suite which would have been preferable but bathroom was right in the next room and everything was spotless and clean. We dealt mainly with Marcos who was a very friendly host and gave us a lovely breakfast. we tried to take some nice photos of the property from outside but there were so many trees in front of it we couldnt really see it which is shame because it is a lovely building in a quiet residential street. it was very cold at night and luckily there was an extra blanket provided. would recommend.

On the Park is a dream!! Where to begin with describing this amazing gem. I came to Boston for business but found the perfect way to relax after a grueling day. Waking up in this place was heavenly. The house itself is situated in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood of tree-lined streets and exquisitely built homes. It overlooks a park excellent for walking, jogging or day-dreaming. The location is fantastic for those looking to relax, yet still have access to excellent restaurants, bookstores, cafes, and quaint shops. You're only a few minutes walk from Harvard Street, the Green line and the Streetcar and only minutes from downtown Boston.

The hosts, Betsy and Marcos are the most amazing couple you'll ever meet. They know how to make you feel at home and take care of you better than any chain hotel concierge ever could! The B&B has everything you could possibly need - lots of room if you need some solitude, free wifi, snacks, tea, coffee, AMAZING breakfast of fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, breads, cheeses, etc. (prepared by Marcos). The rooms are incredibly spacious and airy with an antique feel that is the perfect compliment to the comfortable surroundings of the neighborhood. You'll appreciate the knick knacks, quilts, blankets, photos, and walls and walls of books. After experiencing On the Park, I can't imagine ever staying anywhere else! I will certainly be back soon!

We had a very pleasant stay at On the Park. The owners Betsy and Marco were gracious and very accommodating. The Bed and Breakfast is a lovely old house on a charming quiet tree lined street. Our room was clean and cozy and comfortable. Eating a delicious breakfast on the porch overlooking the park across the street was a lovely way to start the day.
We were moving our daughter on Sept.1st, which is the craziest moving day of the year for Boston's college students. We were very glad to begin and end those moving days by going back to On the Park to relax and recharge.

My husband and I just stayed at On the Park and we were both thrilled with our choice! He said that he has never gotten such a good night's sleep outside his bed. I must agree with him. Our bathroom was a separate room off our bedroom. This was absolutely no problem. It was huge! There are comfy bathrobes available if you want to use them. Betsy and Marcos are wonderful hosts, who make you truly feel comfortable. Their home is situated in a beautiful part of Brookline -- very quiet and secluded. You would never know that you are a matter of a block off bustling Harvard Street. Within walking distance of their home are wonderful restaurants, shops, a bookstore and a movie theater. You can easily walk to the green line on the "t", making the city of Boston very easily accessible. Breakfast was out-of-this world! Very healthy and tasty! The yogurt and fresh fruit were delicious. Excellent, secure wifi (better than in some chain hotels!).You really feel like a family friend here. We are looking forward to our next stay. They have truly captured the meaning of "bed and breakfast"!

Agree with many other positive reviews regarding the very friendly and hospitable owners, pleasant location, old style but comfortable and clean rooms, huge and delicious breakfasts.

PRO:
1- the kindness, hospitality, help and suggestions from Betsy (even find an apartment in Brookline);
2- the delicious breakfast prepared by Marcos everyday in the beautiful patio, including a huge bowl of fresh fruits, bagels, yogurt, granola, wild salmon, orange juice ... all accompanied by a pleasant classical music;
3- the quiet and peaceful neighbourhood of Brookline with easy access to downtown (either by the green line or the bus 66);
4- the free services always available like wi-fi, coffee machine and snacks.

COUNS:
1- Points of improvement ? Nothing!!!!

I STRONGLY SUGGEST B&B “ON THE PARK”!

The proprietors at this bed & breakfast are 2 of the nicest people i have met. They were very accomodating, helpful with my exploration of boston and the surrounding areas, and just overall nice. I felt more like i was staying with family instead of strangers. The rooms are also clean and comfortable.
