A beautiful art deco architectural gem that has become one of the best art houses in the country and now with an affiliation with Sundance (one of only a handful in the US). The programming is diverse and innovative, the atmosphere is very comfortable. Four different screens, different size spaces (online reservations a good idea for the two smaller theaters, through their own site, at much lower fulfillment charges than the commercial movie houses). A very European feel to the place, artisan beer and a broad wine selection in the lobby (ever-changing for the seasons). While it fits comfortably into the Coolidge Corner neighborhood, it is truly a national art house. And a not-for-profit foundation worth supporting to assure its future.
