We were given a gift certificate to this restaurant and were excited to check it out. The interior of the restaurant was nice and it wasn't too crowded (at 5:45 on a Saturday night) so we were seated right away. Our server seemed inexperienced and asked us if we were ready to order just minutes after we had sat down. The menu has a good variety of tapas selections and the wine list is very impressive with detailed descriptions of each bottle. Food was served very quickly. We found the lamb chops to be tasty but overly fatty. The olives were mediocre, the mushroom dish was tasty but overpriced for what it was. Our favorites were the grilled eggplant topped with honey and homemade cheese and the pheasant served over greens with blood orange. I had a glass of Rioja Tempranillo that was quite good. In general, the food was overpriced for what it was and 5 dishes was not enough for 2 people. Perhaps we didn't order the right things but our server didn't offer any suggestions. I might go back here for some of the wine selections but not for the food. The food was not bad but not worth the money. I've had better tapas elsewhere in Boston.

I guess you should sort of expect big city offerings to be a little expensive, and then on top of that tapas is certainly not the most economical of foods in the first place, so Taberna de Haro was about what you would expect price-wise, maybe a tad higher. The tapas themselves were tasty and well presented. The wine list was extensive, and again a little pricey, but hey - you don't go out for tapas every day now, do you?

We went here after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor, and due to its proximity to our hotel. We made an online reservation without any problems (on a Thursday night at 6:30). When we showed up we were asked where we wanted to sit and got seated quickly. The restaurant smelled of fish which was slightly unpleasant. Our server came quickly and after we ordered sparkling water were told they were out, which seemed odd for a hot summer day.

We ordered 4 dishes (1. Pollo al chilindrun, 2. Gambas, 3. Ensalada tomate, 4. Albondigas bacalao) which all came nearly simultaneously, except one which they mixed up. The correct dish came as we were finishing the others.

The flavors in the dishes were excellent and each unique. The food was served hot and fresh.

The sangria we had was tasty. However the price was a bit high. For the food the prices were acceptable for the quality.

Overall, we'd suggest this pleasant little restaurant for dinner. it's not perfect but pleasant enough.

Service and pacing was efficient, wine selection broad, and food prepared very well. With the volume of tapas plates, it's common to get overcooked plates at a clumsy pace, but TdH executed just right on a nice evening at an outdoor table. Artichoke and sweet chorizo plates were noteworthy. Four thumbs up.

Authentically spanish tapas with a creative twist. Small restaurant (especially in winter when the sidewalk cafe is closed) with a big menu and wine list. Reservations definitely recommended. The chocolate truffles with sea salt and olive oil was one of the most amazing things I have ever eaten! Classic tapas such as gambas al ajillo and tortilla espanola are perfectly executed!
