“Always packed, worth it!”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

I live a few blocks from Zaftigs and every time I pass it on a weekend, the place is so packed and has people lined up outside the door. The only time I actually got in, we had to wait for an hour after putting our name on the list and couldn't get in until everyone in my party had arrived because it was so packed! Despite the wait, the food was well worth it. We had brunch there and their menu is fantastic. Lots of great Jewish dishes and traditional American dishes with a Jewish culinary twist. The eggs benedict on the potato pancakes was delicious.

“Great breakfast place”
Reviewed June 28, 2013

We got a recommendation from the Front Desk staff at Courtyard Brookline(Webster St) and gave it a try for breakfast one morning. Everything we ordered was delicious from Omelettes, Challah French Toast, Blintzes, to breakfast BLT. The staff was attentive and explained things we had questions about.

“Zaftig for a zaftig gal”
Reviewed June 20, 2013 via mobile

Huge menu but yes, salads for those who don't like or want to "fress" (overeat).

Fun place. Loud when crowded. Good enough for a nosh! In a convenient location and I did find a meter right in front. Just make sure to feed the meter. The meter maids in the 'hood" are hungry!!!!

“Good food but noisy”
Reviewed June 16, 2013

Saturday lunch was good, shared with friends: turkey wrap moist with crisp vegetables, banana pancakes light and yummy, salad wedge excellent with blue cheese salad dressing, and hamburger and fries great. Cannot complain about the food, but the noise level made for hard conversation.

Guess success and busy restaurant brings loud noise.

“Small Sandwiches”
Reviewed June 8, 2013

We thought the sandwiches were small and expensive. No one in our party of 8 was thrilled with their food.
