Nothing special here- except you get served quick and it's decent. I wasn't expecting much else than that and came here late for a lunch and was served exactly what I expected.

With Boston having so many great sushi restaurants, and a few in the neighborhood I would think they'd want to pick their niche, either raise the bar or go for speed/quantity.

I'd probably not visit again and choose one of the others in the neighborhood to be honest (organic sushi down the street is great).

This is my favorite sushi joint. I always leave satisfied and relaxed. The interior is very clean and the waitstaff are sweet and eager to please. The food is always nicely presented and the location is an easy walk to Coolidge Corner and easy to get to via MBTA.

I always seem to end up at Mr. Sushi when dining in Brookline, not because it's anything special but because it's affordable and they always have a table. The sushi is fresh and pretty good and for the price you can't go wrong. Some of the other sushi restaurants in the area are so small you feel like you're in your neighbor's lap. Not the case at Mr. Sushi. They do have a liquor license.

Osaka is right around the corner and much much better but you do pay for the difference.

They have been here many years, tend towards a more traditional menu, and always, consistently turn out excellent sushi, sashimi, teryaki, and some udon and Korean dishes. Quiet, serene. A nice relaxing place to go for tradtional sushi and related food.

No real complaints about Mr. Sushi although it isn't always my first thought of where to go. Cute interior, very Japanese looking, and an interesting enough range of non-sushi food on the menu; last time I went I had sukiyaki which was pretty great. Prices are reasonable and takeout is quick and efficient
