Every time I go to a Red Sox game, I stop at this place on the way home win or lose. These folks are serious about their BBQ. [there is a roll of paper towels on every table] Make sure you start with the Texas Chili it's the best and have it with the corn bread on the side. Then go right into a rack of baby back pork ribs and add some Texas fries. The baked beans come with the meal. Once you visit this place, you will come back over and over again. Enjoy!

I really want to give this place a better review since I grew up in Brookline and know its a staple of the area but truly its not very good. I've been multiple times and went again recently. I love pork ribs but honestly the sauce isn't great, the ribs don't fall off the bone and the sides are nothing to write home about. The beans are decent, the coleslaw has too much mayo, the cornbread is cold and mealy and the corn on the cob was overcooked. I got a 9 dollar margarita which came in a tiny margarita glass though was well made. I tried some of the brisket which was overcooked so quite dry, as well as the bbq shrimp, small problem. The atmosphere is loud which is totally fine for that kind of restaurant and you can see them cooking the ribs on a large grill which is fun. Overall though I wouldn't recommend this place.

Good BBQ, can be loud & raucous atmosphere. Often crowded.

Service is decent. Food is okay. I've tried various things on the menu, but nothing beats the pulled pork.
