We stayed at this hotel for two nights to visit colleges in the area. All were easily driveable or accessible by public transit. Although the parking rate is high ($18 per night) you can come and go as you please, so that was good. We chose to drive to the schools and then took the T into the city for dinner. Very low stress.

Lots of places to eat are within walking distance. The room was large and comfortable, although it had a slightly musty smell that you didn't notice after the first few hours.

We didn't have a rate that included the breakfast, and we didn't want to have to pay the price per person, so we had our breakfasts out on the streets instead, which was fine. Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Panera, and cafes are all a short walk away.

The only 'problem' other than the musty smell was that we only had three towels in our room when four people checked in. I had to call for the extra towel, and even when they replaced our towels, we still only got three. But that was not really a big deal. Definitely would recommend this hotel, and would stay there again. We were able to get a AAA rate but otherwise, at $199 per night, we probably would have stayed only one night. But it's a city hotel, so that isn't a terrible price tag.

Daughter moved to Boston to begin college. Her apartment is in Brookline. The Marriott was 2 stops on the Green line from her apartment. The Metro was right out our front door of the Marriott. Wonderful way to get around in Boston. Brookline is a wonderful community and there were a variety of restaurants in walking distance. Also walked to JFK's birthplace in Brookline Would stay there again on our next visit.

Only stayed here one night, came in town to attend an info session at BU. Room was spacious and clean. The staff was very responsive. I had asked for a fridge and late check out and they granted my requests instantly. It's clost to the green line, trader joe's and other stores and restaurant. Would stay there again if I couldn't get a room in Boston. It's close enough.....

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Marriott Courtyard in Brookline. The Hotel was clean and comfortable. The Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel has a small pool and fitness room.

The location was convenient for us and is located in a nice quiet neighborhood, with a T stop nearby, its only a ~15 minuet ride from downtown Boston and the major sightseeing attractions.

The hotel supplied us with a playpen for our infant and a fridge free of charge. There are Trader Joes, Walgreens and CVS conveniently located across the street from the hotel.

We stayed here to visit our son who lives in Brookline. We were very satisfied with the hotel. It did not feel tired to us. We had a comfortable room with king bed, sofa, and desk. Good lighting for reading or working. Wireless in the rooms and computers and printers available in the lobby . During an earlier stay we had a room with a view of the Boston skyline.

The location is very convenient - close to the T and near all sorts of interesting restaurants and shops. The breakfast is typical Courtyard - a hot buffet with individually prepared omelets and waffles available. If you are here for more than one day you should definitely explore some of the other options. We walked one morning to Athan's Bakery. Great pastry and panini sandwiches including breakfast ones.

We stayed here many times because of its location. When new and several years after, it was a wonderful hotel. Execllent staff. This last visit was disapointing. Completely different staff with a poor attitude. There was construction underway. No elevator to underground parking was a inconvenience. If we return next year, I will want to be assured that problems have been corrected.
