“Tasty food, nice atmosphere”
Reviewed August 10, 2011

We tried this place on a rainy night, so there was some street parking available. I was told previously that the parking is generally a bit tough, but there are 2 T stops close by off the Green line ("C").

The atmosphere was cozy & comfortable. It's a fairly small restaurant/bar, and I would imagine that it could get crowded. The service was very good. We were seated immediately and waited on immediately also. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and checked back with us periodically.

We ordered 2 entrees, 3 apps, 2 drinks, 1 soda. ($110 incl a ~20%+ tip) The grilled salmon was our favorite, and the sausage spring rolls were great also (app). The portions were a good size. There isn't, however, a huge selection of entrees.

Overall, it was a good experience. Cute spot, good food, good service.

“Amazing food made up for seating issues”
Reviewed December 10, 2010

This place is quite new and really tiny, so there are definitely a few kinks to get out when it comes to seating. We were waiting a really long time and the place is really, really tiny which makes it hard to wait. We left to go to a nearby bar because there wasn't room to wait in the restaurant, but the hostess called our name 15 minutes earlier then she thought she would, so we missed getting our table and we had to wait an hour for the next one. They weren't taking reservations, not sure if that is their permanent policy or not.
That said, the food made it totally worth it. The best meal I've had in ages, absolutely loved everything. The bison bolognese was incredible and even the bread was excellent. The waitress was so nice and took great care of us. I recommend trying one of their cocktails, they are tasty and fun. The food seems to be generally America, but it definitely has an Irish flair.
I will definitely go to this place again, but not on a weekend night.
