I wouldn't recommend Sweet Tomatoes if you are a meat lover. But if you are content to have all you can eat salad, soups, bland pastas and bread, it is adequate. It's a good place for families with kids. But don't go there for high quality food or ambiance.
I wish there was a Sweet Tomatoes near where I currently live, but it was great to be able to eat there when I was visiting friends in Washington recently. I am a fan of salads, so this is the perfect place for me. There are plenty of options for a vegetarian, but also for anyone else as well. One of the things I like best is the fact that all of the salad bar ingredients appear to be very fresh and there are a lot of options to choose from to build a salad. Also, there are soups, pasta, breads, and desserts. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful as well. This isn't a fancy restaurant, but it is a great low-key place to get a good, filling meal.
The food was as expected at Sweet Tomatoes. It appeared fresh. There was a shortage of sourdough bread. The desserts were better than usual.
Love eating here. This is where we have our date night! Fresh veggies, fresh soups, fresh fruit, YUM! Love Joan's broccoli salad! You can download coupons every week to get discounts on dining. We love the manager and staff, same people work here for years, we know most staff on a first name basis. Very friendly and healthy place to eat.
