I was surprised to see a less than stellar review for Thanksgiving - though I have never eaten here during a holiday, I have had many excellent lunches and dinners here with family and colleagues. The menu items are creative and uniformly well done and presented, and the service is always top notch as they make us feel like family. Prices are medium to high end, but you get what you pay for.

Thanksgiving dinner had two great qualities, the salad and the dessert. In between those two was a plate of barely warm food. For the price I expect far more professionalism from the kitchen, especially a teaching kitchen (NWCI).

The locations is convienent as well as beautiful. The waiters and servers were charming, attentive and gracious. The dinner was scrumptious especially the Columbia River Salmon. Top notch wine selection but a bit pricier then many other high end restaurants. The building provides a wonderful ambiance that creates a relaxing and charming dining experience. The lounge provides tasteful music entertainment and a well stocked bar. The staff was quite entertaining and extremely helpful in sharing the rich history of Vancouver and the Fort. The waiter even gave my special out of town guests a tour of the Grant house and told them several great intriguing ghost stories. I will definitely continue to share The Grant House with my other special guests and business associates.

I love this restaurant. Unique Northwest menu, fantastic service, a little price-y, but perfect for a special occasion!

A great place to stop after work or before a movie for a drink and some great food. We ordered a variety of items and shared them around. The garlic and herb fries were hugely popular and those were ordered in abundance. The hummus plate is generous in size and equally tasty. The fruit and cheese plate can be ordered with just crackers or both bread and crackers and comes with a small but varied assortment of cheeses. Fruit likely varies with the season but ours had blueberries, raisins and apple slices, with a fruit chutney in the center. You can't go wrong with the boneless beef short ribs - melt in your mouth tender. Share a selection of these tasty treats and call it dinner!

Live music is provided in the bar area, which is a bit small, but there is a room in back that worked perfectly for a large group. The staff is attentive, helpful, and accommodating of special requests.
