“Margarita Factory, Si!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 25, 2013 via mobile

Immediately we were greeted by friendly staff. The margaritas were excellent, rellenos and enchiladas were very good. We went back and I had a great avocado tostada with chicken on the side. There was so much food I took the chicken home for dinner. The location is convenient on Mill Plain near Hearthwood, it's on the way to everywhere. They are so friendly I hope they are successful. The menu is extensive with all of the standards and very well-priced lunch specials, too. There are lots of choices for Mexican on Mill Plain, but this is our favorite now.

“Just awful!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 19, 2012

I can't imagine anyone praising the food here - unless they had too many of the margaritas - which, by the way, are excellent. I was here with a large group and none of us was completely happy with our meals. No one with leftover food took it home in a to-go box. I ordered an entree of carna asada paired with grilled shrimp. The steak was mediocre (and overcooked) and the shrimp were small, burnt, and swimming in about a half inch of grease. I normally have a fairly healthy appetite, but most of my dinner was chips and salsa that night. I would not recommend this place to anyone other than maybe for margaritas.

“Third Mexican restaurant in the same location”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 27, 2012

First El Juan Colorado, then Los Patrillos, now the latest incarnation in this location is Jorge's Margarita Factory. The inside has been somewhat updated, with the old smoke-smelling lounge a thing of the past. The restaurant area isn't much different except the addition of a number of flat screen TVs and pendant lighting.

It is a typical middle of the road Mexican restaurant. The chips and salsa are good, the food served in large portions-piping hot, with decent margaritas.

Give it a try if you're in the neighborhood.

“Best Mexican restaurant in Vancouver”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2012

I'm really picky when it comes to Mexican food but this place is just awesome. They have the best chunky guacamole, enchiladas, and carne asada. Try this place, you won't be disappointed
