Beautiful park. Lots of old trees and seating. On the weekends there is a farmers market that is very nice. Nice play structure for the kids. Also the park is located in downtown Vancouver which is a nice town with nice shops.

“Check out the Farmers Market Here”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

On Saturdays until 4:00 and Sundays until 3:00 check out the Farmers Market at Esther Short Park in Vancouver, WA. Also on Thursday nights in the summer there are 6:00 to sunset free concerts in the park. Just look for the gazebo.

“A nice city park”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

This is a lovely small park in the middle of the downtown area. There is play equipment and restrooms. There are often free noon time or evening concerts during the summer. Bring blankets or lawn chairs if you attend one. There is a popular farmer's market on weekends. Parking can be a challenge during market hours unless you are willing to walk a ways. Some major events fence off nearly the entire park and charge for entry. These happen a few weekends a year and usually have live music and alcohol.

“Esther Short Park”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Esther Short Park is in the nicest part of the newly redone downtown of Vancouver, Washington, U.S.A. There are special small concerts and events throughout the year. However, most happen in June, July, August, and September, when it is not raining.

“Great little Venue for Concerts, etc...”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Ester Short Park is getting well known for it's summer concert series. There are the Noon Hour concerts and Six to Sunset starting in mid-July through mid-August. They also have Friday night movies in the summer. ESP is a great for the entire family, singles, couples and even doggies. There is a nice fountain to cool your feet off and a Farmer's Market on Saturdays and Sundays. I'm happy the City of Vancouver brought it back to life. I used to go there as a child; I took my child there and now my grandchildren. Well worth a visit if you're just cruising through our fair little city.
