Nice to have something to do and share with family and friends outside. Band days/nights are great. Only issue I had was that I didnt know or think to bring something to sit on. Bring a blanket or chair etc. Picnic lunch or dinner to :)

Located across from City Hall, this is a pleasant, interesting park. The seasonal Saturday Farmers market occurs on ther western side street and into a southern parking lot. Wide variety of trees, including Redwoods and Giant Sequoias. The occasional oddity, like some sugar maples! The park is a great learning experience because of the many different species. Also lots of grass to sit, spread out on. Central shell for bands, etc, which are frequent, generally free, and a lot of fun. Audiences range from devotees to families (lot's of kids) and old folks. Patios are great from sitting, having a coffee, or the impromptu meeting. Parking directly around the park is limited, but nearby streets generally have availability. Leashed dogs are welcome - there is a dog park near the toilets.

Fun, well cared for and well used urban park.

Multi-use park in the middle of the city is a great place to take the kids. Usually not too busy to enjoy the many things to do there.

This is a Great Park in Downtown Vancouver. It is situated a few blocks from the Waterfront and offers a beautiful setting for a walk, a picnic or a place for the children to play and swing. There is a clock tower that chimes and tell the story of the migrating salmon, a reflection pond and wonderful old trees for shade and cover. During the summer months there is a stage for free concerts and there is a Farmers Market every weekend, until the snows come. The park is bordered by some apartments, stores, restaurants, condo's and my favorite, Starbucks. Come and check out the park!!!!

Spring, Summer and Fall there is always something going on down here. Farmers market. concerts. specialty events. All but one or two are family friendly. The ones that are not, are beer and wine events.

It has what you want in a park...walking trails, big shady trees, a bandstand and playground for children. In the summer months there are concerts in the park. They are super fun too! It's a community park and a good one at that!

Being directly across the street from the pet friendly Vancouver Hilton, the park is a great place for a walk with or without the dog. The farmer's market is great and overall very nice place be.

This gem represents the very essence of Vancouver's revival of their downtown.
Beautiful park with a variety of community activities depending on the day of the week.
Saturday Market is always a treat and the bandshell hosts live music on summer evenings. Parking is not hard to find and the clock tower is a treasure...don't miss it.

Have been there for free concert in the park on Thursday nights, and for walking around after going to the farmer's market on the weekend. Lots of families with their children playing in the swing and slide area, and safe scene with the music even with a large crowd.
