“Vancouver Mexican food”
Reviewed July 28, 2013

This was a place recommended by locals to eat at.....one thing I found out is Vancouver Mexican style food is in its own category. It is not real authentic mexican you get elsewhere.

Service was slow and wouldn't tap the Dos XX keg for just me to drink from, don't know what that was about but had to settle on Pacifico beer instead.

Had the chicken fajita quesadillas and just weren't good at all. I was hungry and ate half of it, but left the rest behind. The chips and salsa/bean dip was not all that good either. The salsa lacked flavor and beans were plain and simple.

Won't be going back to this place

“Loud Music”
Reviewed July 8, 2013 via mobile

We went into the bar for a drink and lunch but the music was so loud we got up and moved into the restaurant but it didn't help. Asked the waiter if they could turn down the music so we could talk but it never happened. Our wives showed up and complained again but the waiter just said they would get the music turned down but it never happened. Service was very poor but the food was ok. Not the best Mexican I have ever had but it was ok. The music was so loud we could not carry on a enjoyable conversation so we ate and left. Don't think anyone cared because they were booked. So if you like loud Mexican music and average Mexican food, enjoy. Not for us!

“Excellent Food and Service”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

Staff was friendly, venue and food was authentic. Had to take home a doggy bag as there was more food than we could eat.

“Below mediocre food, drinks and customer service”
Reviewed May 3, 2013

We were four adults for dinner, and it was a terrible disappointment. Customer service was slow and irresponsive despite the place being more than half empty. Drinks were soapy and lacked alcohol content. Chips are made with lard, and the bean dip has lard too. The salsa was worse than grocery store non-chilled jar salsa, and the food was tasteless - chewy carne asada fajitas, dry chicken fajitas meat, and the shrimp was overcooked. There was not a single pleasant moment about the service or the food. Never again.
