I have stayed here many times over the last 2 years as I own a business that has a branch in Vancouver. I typically stay in a 2 room suite on the business class 4th floor. I have noticed the quality drop over the last 2 years. They have chosen to cut corners during the recession by switching from serving great coffee in the rooms and lobby to serving the same coffee as my Chevron gas station. Van Houtte is a inferior coffee with a laughable reputation in the coffee industry. This hotel which continues to charge 170-200 dollars a night needs to consider the business class customers that want great coffee served in the rooms , lobby and restaurant.
This will cause me to go to a different hotel from now on. .
