So nice place to stay in Vancouver, WA! It is clean, VERY quiet, has comfortable beds, Wi-Fi, micro-fridge, great free breakfast - just everything you need, and nothing wrong. And the staff is so friendly!
Will stay again on the next visit to Vancouver.

We are a couple with a 14 month old girl. We just stayed here the last 2 nights and can't say a bad thing about this hotel. The hotel has a nice entrance, the staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and very neat and you get free breakfast. I thought this was only going to be a breakfast consisting of bagels, pastries and some cereals but to our surprise there was fruit, pastries (donuts, danish rolls, cinnamon buns, muffins), bread, bagels, a waffle maker and dough dispenser to make your own waffles, there were eggs and sausages with gravy and such...so plenty of stuff to eat for breakfast. As soon as the tray of pastries were getting low on items, they kitchen staff would refill it right away.

There is a pool, hot tub and exercise room as well. We took our little one for a swim as well and she enjoyed it very much. We had no problems with noise during our stay. Our room was a double queen and had a TV, Wifi, a small fridge, microwave, hairdryer, coffee maker with coffee, a desk with some chairs and a love seat with coffee table. Everything you need for your stay!

Room Tip: Our room was a double queen on the first floor (134) and we were close to one of the side entrances...

The shared areas are nicely decorated. The rooms are big and seem to have been partially redecorated. There is a fridge and a microwave in every room. However the hotel decided not to install dampers on the guest room doors which translates into a never-ending symphony of banging doors. It is virtually impossible to go to sleep before your neighbors stop entering and exiting their rooms, and in the morning no sleeping after 6am. The breakfast included is a joke. No fruit, no yoghurt, no toast, lineups for eggs and sausage. One day they had bagels but they ran out of cream cheese. They had cereal but no bawls. We will never stay here again.

Valued Guest,

While we strive hard to make sure each and every guest has a great stay, I apologize for the stay that you had. We are working on ways to control our doors, however your security is our top priority! We need to make sure that the doors close properly as to not leave them partially open upon you leaving (or entering) your room. This helps keep you and your belongings safe. In regards to the breakfast...this is NOT our standard. I have addressed this with our staff, insightfully, over the last few days. We definitely want to earn your business again the next time you are in Vancouver. Please let us know if there is anything we may do to help make your next stay more enjoyable.

Sincerely,
Matt Smith

We had problems at the La Quinta in Vancouver and this was suggested to us. What a great hotel! The breakfast was excellent, the beds were nice, the staff was even nicer. I over heard a couple entering the front desk area had missed the evening cookies. They had mentioned to the front desk clerk they had missed the cookies two nights earlier as well, so the staff member made a special batch for them and brought it to their room, how sweet! Definitely recommend this hotel! They are also pet friendly and took our three dogs, they only charged a $15 a night pet fee (not per dog!) Wonderful!

For the time being there is construction on the I-205 off ramp coming from the south. This necessitated an 8 mile detour. If coming from the south you have to go north 4 miles, then double back to get to the off ramp on Mill Plain Rd. THEN you have to travel quite a distance east to get to the motel.
Once there the rooms are quiet clean and comfortable. My room (215) had large stains in the carpet. Shame on whoever soiled the carpet.
The place has a van, and you might use it as a park and fly if they offer such a service. Just give yourself extra time to get to the airport.

Room Tip: Avoid room 215, and beware fwy construction

Dear Valued Guest,

Please accept our sincerest apologies for the unexpected detour. That being said, we are very glad that you arrived here safely! In regards to the quality of the carpet; we usually keep these rooms down until we absolutely have to sell them, and we just so happened to be very busy over the last two weekends. We are having this specific rooms carpet replaced very shortly, as our owners want to make sure that the quality of the hotel stays great. Thank you for your review!

Sincerely,
Matt Smith
