“Bed bugs!”

First off, I would like to say that the employees who work at this hotel are very friendly and hospitable. However, friendly employees or not, I came home with bed bug bites all over my arms! Fortunately, the bugs did not travel with me, so the rest of my family was spared. With a rate of $250 a night, I certainly did not anticipate leaving with such an "itchy" parting gift.

In all fairness, the appearance of the rooms seemed fine , as well as the overall cleanliness of the hotel.

The following response is respectfully submitted. First and foremost it should be noted that this isolated incident has been taken very seriously by the staff and management of our hotel. Our guests, past and future, should not be alarmed as there is no bed bug problem at our hotel.

Although an isolated occurrence, anytime a guest is not satisfied or not comfortable for any reason it becomes a top concern for all of us, guest satisfaction and comfort remain our number one priority.

Regarding the incident in question the room was immediately taken off-line; a staff assessment was conducted, followed by a thorough professional examination. It was not until management was 100% certain that the room was suitable for occupancy that it was returned to inventory.

As an experienced and conscientious hospitality manager this incident is both frustrating and alarming, as we host thousands of guests each year, consistently providing exemplary service and comfort. We apologize for the inconvenience and discomfort this guest experienced and once again, we would like to assure you that our Holiday Inn Express & Suites does not have a bed bug problem. We take every step possible including staff training and implementing professional preventative programs to insure our guests’ comfort.

Management and the staff of our hotel are firmly committed to guest satisfaction and the guest experience. We would like to personally invite you to experience this for yourself.

2 people 2 rooms business stay for 4 nights. This is a very nice, new hotel, convenient free parking, walking distance to Williston Airport, very nice and competent staff, nice exercise room excellent ellipticals, pool's too small for laps but inviting for a nice dip, excellent huge whirlpool, breakfast is very good with typical continental plus egg dish that was quite good and pancakes. Close to main drag for eating and shopping and don't miss eating a couple of meals at Big Willy's Saloon - walking distance. My only knock was that at night the Internet connection slowed down to non-existence. When guests log on to watch video programming at night Internet was non functional. Need more bandwidth. Day time no problem. Staying here again next week. A little on the expensive side,

Your comments are truly appreciated for it allows us to know we are closer to reaching our goals in customer satisfaction. We are currently looking into our bandwith to ensure it is in proper working order. We did recently have to replace a WIFI access point and apologize if this created any problems with your eveining access.

My boss had a business trip planned to Williston and reservations at the Holiday Inn Express. As goes with business plans, the trip was cancelled. I called the Holiday Inn 800 number first and was advised that I had to go through the Inn in Williston. I talked to a clerk more than 48 hours prior to the planned check in date and was advised that we would be charged the full amount as their is a 72 hour cancellation policy. I recently cancelled a reservation at a four star Hotel in SF and was not charge. The clerk was not helpful and said he would speak with the Manager and get back to me. No one returned my call and today my boss received his charge bill for the full amount of $273.00 for a "check in" on 9/27 which never happened. Bad business.

While this is probably the best place in town to stay, at the price paid for a room the least they could do is honor the Priority Club rules. We had to change rooms twice. I was waiting until the new room was cleaned (since Priority Club doesn't have to check out til 2) to move. But no they don't honor their own club. I had to pack everything up move most of it to the truck and check back in after 3 pm. The next morning we were due to more again, my husband ask could they please clean the room we were moving to first so we could just move our things straight to the new room, NO! We had to load up our stuff again only to get back at 10 PM, stand in line for 30 minutes to check in, be told there was a mistake and we would be in the same room as before! Nightmare!!!!!! The sad part is I feel sorry for the staff. Everything is so booked in town. Companies are actually paying for rooms they are not using so that they will be available when they do need them. A basic room here is in the $250 range! I know, hard to believe, it is not in Disney World, not even close! The staff in general seem to be frustrated at any question or phone call made. I am sure they are overwhelmed with the number of calls they get each day. They are building places as fast as they can to try to keep up with the demand, even Walmart is a nightmare in Williston!

Room Tip: Free washers and dryers on each floor!!!!!

after a long drive it was nice to get to this hotel. Very friendly staff. Hotel is brand new so rooms smelled great and everything worked perfectly. Easy place to stay if you're in town for a day or two, but as everything in Williston the price was pretty high.
