I normally love Microtels and always choose to stay there because of the pool and hot tub and general layout and appearance. I was highly disappointed that for the over-priced charging at this hotel that the pool was freezing and the hot tub was broke.

Never been in a cleaner establishment! Service was excellent. This was our first stay in a Microtel and it will be one of many now

Wow, I don't even know where to begin to tell you how wonderful this hotel was! Immaculately clean, spacious rooms, attentive staff, our every need met. BEST hotel coffee on the planet! (yes, that's important to us!). From the moment we made our reservation, to the minute we checked out, the entire experience was amazing. It had a great variety of foods for their breakfast. We did not have time to use the pool or fitness center, but appreciated the option.
We travel a lot, and have stayed at many hotels/chains. This was by far the best hotel experience we have had in 35 years. Our room had a Queen bed, pull out couch, and even a window seat that could have slept another person. We had a couple occasions to interact with housekeeping, and they were incredibly gracious and helpful. If I were forced to find something that didn't meet my needs, it would be that most hotels have alarm clocks that also dock your iPod/iPhone, and they didn't. I only hope all Microtel hotels are this good! All hotels in Williston are pricey. (weekend rates are about 1/2 weekday rates). For the money, this was absolutely the best value.

Not everything in Williston is easy these days, and this hotel is a welcome respite from the craziness of a boom town. The rooms are new and spotless, the food good and the staff friendly and accommodating. I had questions for the manager, Mr. Livings, and he was very helpful with answers as he continued to help other guests as well. I'll make this a regular stop as I do business at the Bakken.

This was our first family trip to Williston since the oil boom started and we were nervous about hotel accommodations. We expected a bland white-walled room with mediocre furniture, noise round the clock, and a meager breakfast buffet. Quite the opposite! The room and hotel was lovely and super clean. Great buffet with free soup at 3 p.m. There was fruit, cookies, an assortment of protein bars, and juice/milk at guest's disposal 24/7. The staff was super helpful with directions/questions. We had to ask for extra bedding for our pull-out sofa and a new ironing board that had a glitch. There was an issue with the phone when we tried to call room to room that never was solved, but it was minor compared to everything else. Great place to stay!
