“Great experience!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 14, 2012

We drove all night from Nashville, TN to take care of some family business. We arrived at the hotel which held the room without requiring a credit card until arrival. We were able to check the room before booking with no problem. Room was great. We finished checking and brought our luggage into the room. The A/C was at a great tempurature already so we left it where it was. Enjoyed a great shower and got some sleep. Enjoyed the breakfast of hot waffles, coffee and pastries. Didn't try the other items but they looked good as well. The breakfast attendant was a delight to talk to and was on the spot with items as they were being taken. breakfast area was clean. It was great to be able to bring ours dogs with us rather then leaving them in a kennel at home. The rooms were quiet and clean. We slept well and were rested for our trip back home on mothers day. They even wished my wife a happy mother's day. I have never stayed at a hotel that was this friendly and attentive. I will actively tell people of this chain in hopes that each location is as good as this one.

Room Tip: There is no elevator that I saw. Only stairs.

Everything that you could or should expect at a great price.
When we arrived the A/C was already on cooling our room down ahead of our visit. Now that is a VERY nice touch. The room was typical but well appointed. bathroom was a bit small but served its purposes well. The pool and exercise areas were very nice and the sauna was great. Breakfast was a crowded and they ran out of a few things but still very good.

We stayed here on a Saturday night. Was very pleased at check in. The clerk (Julie) was very nice and helpful. Gave us a great Holiday rate. Then place looks wonderful after the renovations that were made. The problem became at check out. There was a man sleeping on the couch in the hallway. We overheard that he was not able to get into his room and the man working the front desk could not get the door open for him. He was very loud and we heard that he had tried to call his manager several times but could not get an answer, so the man was left in the hall to sleep. The breakfast was ok, Could use better quality items. Outside doors to the building did not work on far end. Had to go to another one on side of the building, with all of our bags, in the rain. Spa was not running but the pool was nice. Overall, it was an ok stay, could really use a manager on duty and maybe more training for the guy that worked overnight.

We booked this room online in advance because the hotel was offering a last-minute deal ($64/night for two beds, excluding taxes) and we were enticed by the promise of the indoor pool and the hot breakfast. We arrived in Fort Smith at around 9 p.m., hungry and fatigued after the long drive from Atlanta. The concierge was welcoming and chatty, and our room was a short walk to the pool, both of which boded well for our night's stay. However, when we opened the door of our room, we were accosted by the distinct, cloying odor of mildew. There was no visible trace of mildew in the room, and everything was clean, so we decided to tough it out rather than request a room change. We were exhausted, and we knew we would sleep regardless. We were able to briefly enjoy the flat screen TV, although it was bizarrely embedded within a composite TV stand/dresser on one side of the room, which made for awkward viewing for the guest in the other bad. The beds were comfortable and clean, as was the bathroom, although the latter had no fan or other ventilation--whence, perhaps, the origin of the mildewy smell. The breakfast was also a mixed bag: while the eggs and gravy were decent, there was no fresh fruit or yogurt, and the hot water for tea would more accurately be described as tepid. All in all, this is not the worst place to crash for one night, but we wish we had checked out the other low-budget motels in the immediate vicinity before we reserved the room.

We checked into this hotel a night after staying at the Comfort Inn Airport in Tulsa, which was a disaster. So, we walked in, the lobby is nice, the desk clerk was pleasant, the room was okay. However, the shower had been modified to accommodate wheelchairs, and it was jury-rigged so that there was no lip to keep the water in, and only a short shower curtain, so consequently water ran all over the entire bathroom floor. Also, we had a non-smoking room, but apparently the folks next door were smoking, as we were subjected to cigarette smoke both days we were there. Lastly, the keys never worked twice in succession, and we had to schlep back to the front desk to get our keys re-done after every trip out. We stored the keys away from magnetic media, so even though both desk clerks 'suggested' that we had de-magnetized the keys, we travel frequently and have not had that problem before. The breakfast was sub-par, there was no yogurt as at most Comfort Inns, inadequate seating for all the guests, so we went to IHOP instead. We love the Comfort Inn in Tyler, Texas, but as they are all individually owned and operated, you have to be very careful. We will only stay at Comfort Inns in the future when we have no other choice. In Ft. Smith, we will stay at Hilton's Homewood Suites, about the same price, and new in 2009, and according to a family member who stayed there, very nice.

Lastly, the internet was down at the hotel the entire time we were there, 3 days and 2 nights.

This was a nice hotel. The staff was very professional, and the hotel was well maintained. It was easy to get in and out of the hotel. There were a number of good restaurants and shopping close to the hotel. The T.V. channel selection was good. The rooms were nice, and the internet was great. The continental breakfast was even very good. Also, there is a very good casino that is only about a 10 -12 minute drive. If I have to work in the Fort Smith area again, I would return to this hotel!

stayed at this hotel in June while travelling across the US. The hotel is not really near the "downtown area" of Fort Smith but it is a very nice property, better than we had anticipated. The room was huge, the parking free, and the hotel even had a nice size indoor pool that we had to ourselves. We didn't try the continental breakfast as we wanted to eat at the waffle house across the road, very good by the way...the hotel has easy on/off freeway access as well. Fort Smith is a nice town but there really isn't a whole lot to do there and forget about it after the sun goes down...we had to drive about ten miles to find a place to eat dinner at about 8 p.m. luckily we found a great little place in van buren called "sisters", highly recommended as is the hotel.
