“A beautiful city rich in history”
Reviewed October 16, 2010

Savannah has a lot to offer in culture, historical buildings, and great food. The river walk is nice for scenery, food, and quaint shopping boutiques, There are a lot of buildings with great artitechure and historical significance. The old grave yards date back to the 17th century. There are lots of great restaraunts and unique dining experiences, To learn about the city take a ride on one of the trolleys. They are all about the same in price and service, Near by ( only 20 minutes) is Tybee Island for those who want to do the beach scene, Savannah is a beautiful city to explore,

“Savannah is the place for charm, history and awesome food!”
Reviewed October 13, 2010

From somewhat of a whim, I ended up on a quick vacation to Savannah Georgia because a friend of mine had business there. I absolutely fell in love with this charming town. From the gorgeous squares to the delightful Southern Food, I would recommend this town to anyone! The river walk area is great for fun and food, there are tons of tours both walking and trolley to see the town, and with this being one of the best place for southern cooking, you won't find a bad place to eat! I highly recommend Mrs. WIlkes Boarding house for lunch. You may wait in line but it is SOOO worth it. Paula Deans Restaurants was good too, but very busy with tons of people to serve so I believe you may find better quality at other family style places. Savannah is a must see. Check it out!

“The weekend in Savannah”
Reviewed October 8, 2010

My husband and I loved touring Savannah Georgia. I used Tripadvisor for the hotel and Things to Do. The Spring Hill Suites was an excellent choice. Off the busy streets but close enough for a nice walk to the river walk and shops. The Architectural tour with Jonathan is a MUST DO if you are interested in history and architecture.
Vist the modern museum if you have a chance.

“A Haunted City”
Reviewed October 8, 2010

A Haunted City
Savannah was a beautiful city. The people were friendly. There is a
lot of history in Savannah to learn. We took a private walking tour for about 2 1/2 hours. Better than the tour buses. It is also a very haunted city. It is built on top of many old cemetaries and graves. It had top notch restaurants and bars. We found a chocolate martini bar that we went to several times before going back to our hotel. You can walk around with drinks in your hands and sit outside in the squares. Great place also for shopping.
