The lobby and hotel grounds are beautiful. The breakfast buffet is surprisingly good. Delicious baked goods and lovely dining room to enjoy them in. The rooftop pool is a highlight. Location is central. This is one of my favorite hotels I have ever stayed at. You cannot beat the quality for the price. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Many of the rooms have good views of the waterfront.

Stayed here in a lovely, very quiet room on an upper floor. Breakfast was better than that at the usual Hampton Inn - more choices. The hotel has a great location, making most of the attractions we wanted to visit within walking distance. Would certainly stay here again. We parked at the garage across the street for less than the hotel rate, and noticed that the garage was almost always full. We didn't take our car out of the garage until we left town.

We used points to stay here. The front desk staff was not that great--they didn't tell us all the things we needed to know like when the breakfast was and about the rooftop pool etc. The elevators were overused and we had to take the stairs to/from our 6th floor room because there were too many people and the elevators were too slow. We would wait almost 10 minutes in the morning, then give up and take the stairs! The room was nice except that the toilet "ran" so that was a bit distracting and annoying when trying to sleep. The water pressure in the shower was also not great, and would diminish to a trickle when the room above us flushed. It had an adjustable shower head for different types of streams but that function was broken. We didn't use the TV but it was nice to have the mini fridge to store our newly-purchased fudge from Savannah Candy Kitchen. We specifically asked the maid to give us more coffee supplies for the room (coffee packets, cream, sugar, etc.) and did NOT receive them. We didn't use the rooftop pool but did go up there to look at the view at night. Location is superb and a great place to be in Savannah's Historic District. We could easily walk to everything. Location and view overwhelmed the mediocre staff/amenities.

Room Tip: Rooms on the North side face/overlook the river. I was on the 6th floor with a great view of the br...

The folks in Savannah, as well as the Hampton Inn, never disappoint! The facility was clean and the staff was attentive and courteous. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Will definitely consider staying here on future visits.

We selected this hotel due to its location and TA reviews. The location was perfect. We used the valet parking and walked everywhere. The valet price of $20 seemed reasonable, and you have unlimited access to your car. The lobby was very attractive and comfortable. The rooms were not large, but nicely decorated with lovely views. Breakfast was standard Hampton Inn. A very nice stay.

Absolutely wonderful manager. Will go out of her way to help you.I would like to say that Michelle, the hotel manger at the Hampton in Savannah Georgis, was ablsolutely exemplary in her help and assistance. I had a medical emergency with my sister, who stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. My sister is mentally ill, Bi Polar and had a manic episode while travelling alone. Michelle went above and beyond the call of duty in assisting my sister. She was extremely kind and called me several times at my home in Chicago to offer her help in getting my sister to the airport to come home to Chicago. She went to my sisters room and even helped her pack. She helped provide transportation to the airport, although my sister ended up having to get Psychiatric help in the hospital in Savannah. Michelle is not only a superb manager but a kind an compassionalt women. Please acknowledge her is some way for her outstanding dedication. I will make it a point to choose the Hampton for my future traveling needs because of Michelle.

Great place to stay. Staff very friendly and very helpful. Convenient to several locations in historic district. Walking distance for almost everything. Valet parking is great. We never had to move our car. River street is just a few steps away. Great dining on the river. Our room faced the river so we could see ships passing by.
