We had a wonderful stay in Savannah and found the location of the Planters Inn to be even better than we had expected. We were able to walk everywhere and as we discovered Savannah we realized how centrally located we were!!!

All the staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was fine, with a variety of selections, plenty to get you on the way in the morning.

We would highly recommend a stay at the Planters Inn on Reynolds Square and a meal at the Olde Pink House.

Absolutely must write about the service at the Planter's Inn Savannah. Every staff member was cordial and eager to assist, always going above and beyond even when not necessary. Kudos to the manager for knowing whom to hire. Combine all that with reasonable rates in the historic district and you have a winning combination. We will be sure to return.

We stayed in Savannah for three nights. The Planters Inn is in a prime location as it is part of historic downtown Savannah which is only about 2.5 square miles. When we arrived we found the lobby to be charming. When we arrived at our room we thought it smelled kind of like smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. We notified the front desk and they put a machine in the room that did help the smell. They charge $15 a day for parking, which is a little annoying, but understandable for the location, and the valet is quick to retrieve your car anytime you need it. Overall, the hotel could use a couple upgrades, but it still maintains its charm in a great location. The service was very good. I would stay here again.

Stayed here overnight as a side trip with a final destination in St. Simon for a destination wedding. The location is fantastic! The greeting was first class and they took care of parking the car which was well worth the price. The lobby is grand and the wine and cheese at night with the music accompaniment is a special touch. We had a room on the third floor facing Reynold's Square which was wonderful. The location was perfect for picking up the trolley and also walking to Riverwalk in the evening. We ate at The Olde Pink House and it was a truly elegant experience with all that history around you. Make sure you visit the bar in the basement for a drink which is a sight you will really be amazed by. There is a side door to the bar that you would not even know is there. Also ate lunch at Leopold's Ice Cream for delicious shrimp sandwich and then of course delicious ice cream to end the meal. There is quite a line here but it moves fast. These are all in walking distance to the hotel. I definitely will return here as the experience was first class!!

loved your location, your helpfulness with tours, and being next door to the Olde Pink House was a bonus! Our room overlooked Reynolds Square which was a an additional bonus! Everything from the valet, to being provided directions upon check-out to the airport - everyone was so very helpful and questions anticipated.
