Upon arrival we were greeted by Jerry, the friendly front desk staff member of the Inn. We got in a few hours after regular check-in time but, he was able to offer up a variety of dinner suggestions and pointed us directly to the main room for evening desserts (which were freshly baked at the Inn - and amazingly delicious!), coffee and tea (which were offered every evening from 8:30pm-ish and on). We stayed in Room #1 which is on the first floor next to the lobby and common room, this room is also at the front of the house. It is a beautiful space, the only downfall with this room is sadly the noise of traffic coming from the road. When selecting a room here I would suggest a room on the top floor, or at the rear of the Inn. Hors d'oeouvres and wine are served every evening between 6pm and 7pm. The breakfast menu is posted each evening in the common room for the next day, both of our meals were fresh, hot and tasty. I cannot say enough about the staff of the entire Inn, each individual was extremely friendly, hospitable and very knowledgeable about the area. I look forward to returning to this Inn sometimes (hopefully) in the near future.

Room Tip: When selecting a room, choose one in the back of the house that is not directly on Whitaker Ave. We...

Only an overnight stay this time on our way home from Florida vacation. We chose to stay here again because we had a nice memory from years ago and loved the location by the beautiful park. This time, our room was a bit more "flowery" and not quite the king bed size I believe we had last time. It was rainy, but we were able to walk and enjoy Savannah and have a great dinner in the 45 Bistro. We were sorry that we missed out on the evening treats served at 7pm and the sweets at 9pm but it was quite a long walk back and after dinner we had ice-cream at the famous Leopold's.
I wish the breakfast included a bit more of fresh fruit and some baked goods, since we usually don't eat egg dishes( egg strata) for breakfast.
We were able to park our car in front of the Inn.
Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. It is always a pleasure to accommodate returning guests. We hope that you noticed our selection of fresh baked breakfast breads on the buffet during breakfast hours alongside our homemade granola and our yogurt options. We do our best to ensure that all of our guests are happy with their breakfast. As with any alteration to our standard, additional fruit is available upon request. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and welcome your recommendations. Please keep us in mind for any future trips you make through Savannah!

We stayed one night in the cottage. It was perfect for us and our 2 teenagers. It was beautiful and the food was excellent. We could have sat on the veranda all day! The only down side to the cottage is that you have to go out to the sidewalk and back up to the front door to get into the main part of the bed & breakfast.

Thank you for taking the time to write us a review! We are happy to hear that you found us to be "perfect" for you. The cottage isn't attached to the main house but that does give that added privacy. We hope that you will return to stay with us again in the future and perhaps try for room three which features two queen sized beds in one spacious room at the end of the hall on the parlor level of the main house, closer to the social activities than the cottage.

My husband and I could only spend one night away from home for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We had never stayed at the Forsyth Park Inn, but a high recommendation from friends, made our choice easier. We absolutely loved the Inn, the Staff, the room, the food, the location was excellent! Would love to go there again some day. Highly recommend it !!!

Room Tip: Room # 4 overlooks the courtyard is was very private and quiet ! Love it

This was our third time at the Forsyth Park Inn and this time we stayed for a month. Everything was excellent in terms of our room, breakfast, and evening gathering with guests. We already knew this would be true from past visits. This time, however, we became close friends with Lori and Rick Blass, as well as with Dwayne, Jerry, Daphne, Andrea, Rosa, Misty, Kathy, Cynthia, Zelphia, Shay, and Sadie Mae. We felt as though we were not guests but members of the Inn Family. This made the experience of our stay even more memorable than past stays. It is very refreshing to be with such kind, caring, and eager-to-please people. This is why we plan to return there again next year.

Room Tip: We like rooms with a view of Forsyth Park.

My fiance and I decided to elope to Savannah and chose the Forsyth Park Inn--and it was a great decision! For a very reasonable fee, they took care of everything--Minister, flowers, bouquet, cake--even the champagne for the family toast. The appetizers were delicious and the cake outstanding. The minister was charming and funny and made us feel like he was a close friend of the family

I can't speak highly enough about the staff (Andrea, Dwayne and Laurie) who were Southern-hospitable at it's finest--and the facility and the garden, which made for a wonderful day and beginning to our new life. And we returned to our room after dinner to find they had lined the room and bed with rose petals... Very romantic!

We are already planning another trip back to Savannah--and you can be assured we will be staying at the Forsyth Park Inn...

Room Tip: If you're planning on eloping there--make sure you have a room close to the seating area, as the...
