Just finished a short stay (2 nights) at the Presidents' Quarters in Savannah. We stayed in the Eisenhower Room and were very pleased. (Complimentary parking was a bonus as parking is a premium in downtown Savannah!) The room was comfortable, spacious and immaculate. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and wine in the afternoon was a compliment to our day. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The central location of the hotel made it possible to walk just about everywhere. We're ready to go back!

We stayed at the President's Quarters over the Labor Day Weekend. The room was incredible. We stayed in the FDR room, which had an outdoor balcony and a separate outdoor entrance. The room was clean, neat, spaciou and most of all comfortable. The staff was extremely friendy and helpful. Every person we encountered seemed to be dedicated too our customer satisfaction! We enjoyed the breakfasts thouroughly. We have a new favorite place to stay in Savannah -- The President's Quarters Inn!

We are so glad that they enjoyed their stay with us! Our balcony rooms are very popular and provide a great private spot to relax with an early morning cup of coffee or relax with a good book.
We hope to see them again soon for a return trip to Savannah and the Presidents' Quarters Inn!

We stayed at the President's Quarters Inn in May 2012.

I liked this little hotel. We stayed in the John F kennedy room, which had a balcony overlooking the square and also (very charmingly) an outside door, which we could let ourselves in by every night rather than having to bypass reception.

the room was clean, with pretty furnishings. Bathroom was a little old-fashioned and could have done with some updating, but everything worked well.

Service was good, and the staff very helpful. I was particulary touched by one incident, we booked a romantic carriage ride on our last evening, to drop us off at our restaurant and asked for a bottle of champagne to be provided with the ride. The staff at the hotel thought the price charged by the carriage company was ridiculous and went out and bought us a bottle themselves, adding it to our bill at cost and saving us $75 dollars!

Breakfasts, taken outside on the patio were very nice. We also liked the fact that unlike most of Savannah's inn's, the president's quarters has parking. Very useful!

All in all, a very nice experience.

Room Tip: We stayed in the John F Kennedy Room. I loved the outside door!

We are glad these guest enjoyed their stay and their room. We have 4 balcony rooms, two on the 2nd floor with a King bed in each and they have an original "front door" to each room that were the original parlors to the two townhomes that are now joined together as the Presidents' Quarters Inn.
All of our bathrooms are furnished with a tub and shower combination with the exception of the lofted suites on the 4th floor. Those baths have oversized showers in the full bath off of the lofted bedroom and a half bath on the 1st floor of the room. All of the baths have marble floors and granite countertops. There are pictures of all of the rooms and bathrooms on our website for guests to view.
We are glad we were able to help them out with a private carriage ride and save them a bit of money as well with the champagne we have onsite. We offer a wine and hors d'oeuvre time each evening for our guests who are staying with us(included in your stay) and do have a variety of red and whites available for sale by the bottle as well as champagne.
We do have a lovely walled courtyard where we serve breakfast and guest can relax with a glass of wine during hors d'oeuvres each evening.
We hope these guest will keep us in mind for a return trip and spread the word in the UK about Savannah and Presidents' Quarters Inn!

The Presidents' Quarters Inn is a special 16 room boutique hotel in the heart of historic Savannah. Very convenient location for walking to most of the popular areas of the city. Our room was spacious, immaculate, and well appointed with a very attractive traditional decor. We also found the location to be quiet and amiable. They provide all the little room amenities that I appreciate - in-room temperature control, windows with wood blinds to regulate the amount of natural light/privacy, plenty of space for luggage, nice waffle robes, triple sheeted linens on the bed, good bedside lighting, generous supply of pillows, beautiful textiles, comfortable seating area with reading lamp, work space (for either business or just browsing the web on their complimentary WiFi), current magazines, local info, ice bucket, full length mirror, nice bath amenities, blow dryer, iron/ironing board, clock radio, and flat panel cable TV with HBO. Quite a list!

The inn amenities were top-notch too - FREE OFF STREET PARKING!, elevator, comfy and attractive seating areas on each floor, cozy lobby and indoor breakfast area, complimentary newspapers, concierge services, afternoon sherry, evening wine social hour, and complimentary breakfast with good quality coffee and a couple of juice selections. The breakfast is home cooked and tasty but is not a bountiful 3 course gourmet offering. You do have an option of the posted chef's choice or a continental (nice fruit cup, granola). Breakfast is served either inside or outside in the lovely shaded courtyard, weather permitting.

All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. They had great tips for dining, things to see and visit, Southern history, and local businesses to support. Turn down service in the evening is a very nice touch. The inn provides tip envelopes for the guests to show appreciation for the staff.

Very highly recommended for a lovely and relaxing Savannah accommodations experience as opposed to a chain hotel!!

Room Tip: All of the rooms are gorgeous - rooms with balconies, 2 story loft rooms, King rooms, and rooms with...

We are glad these guest enjoyed their stay with us and all the ammenties included! We are one of the few Inns in the historic district with a private lot for our guests to park in. We do our best to accomodate everyone's car in the lot. When we are full, particularly on the weekends, you do not have to pay to park at the meters which is a plus if we are full and have guest traveling with more than one vehicle and such that may require additional spots.
Once you arrive and park your car, all of the sites in the historic district are less than a 15 minute walk from us, as well as many of the restaurants we recommend with in a 10 minute walk of the Inn.
All of our breakfast are made in-house. We make our own granola that is served with a fruit cup and homemade breakfast breads(yes, we bake our own breakfast breads and muffins), with Greek style yogurt on the side for our continental choice that is available every day.
The other option for breakfast is our hot item- the Chef's Choice- that changes each day. We alternate between a sweet dish and an egg based dish. We serve Eggs Benedict, a variety of individually baked casseroles, Breakfast Burritos, Praline French Toast, a wide variety of Pancakes, and the list goes on. We serve bacon or sausage on the side with the chefs choice each day. Breakfast is served between 8am and 9:30am, with seating times available on the half hour. Coffee, hot water for tea, and orange and cranberry juices are available at 7:15am throughout breakfast service.
Staff is available from 7am to 10pm daily to assist guests with any questions, suggestions for siteseeing, and booking tours and dinner reservations.
The plus of staying at Inns over hotels is that you are one of 16 or fewer room, which allows for more. All of our rooms are equally lovely with period antique furnishings and private baths with marble floors and granite countertops.
All of our rooms can be viewed on our website, so guests can get an idea of what each room looks like and how they are decorated.
We hope to see these guests again soon!

The hotel was wonderful. We came by train and arrived early. Prior to our coming they advised to come to the hotel and if our room was available we could check in. As luck would have it, our room was in use. They gave us breakfast, eggs benedict, before we even checked in. Rather that makes us wait, they gave us a room upgrade at no cost for a room that was available. The rooms are very spacious as well as the bathroom. All of the personnel at the hotel are very helpful. They made restaurant reservations for us. At the end of each day they discussed places we had been to during that day. Breakfast came with the room and was excellent. Always special and delicious. Snacks and wine every evening. It was well worth the cost. If I ever get back to Savannah, I will stay at The Presidents Quarters.

Room Tip: Free Wi-fi.

We are glad we were able to accomodate these guest for their early arrival by train. They had arrived prior to the end of our breakfast service after a long train ride and had very little to eat, so we were happy to offer them a breakfast that morning.
Our check-out is at 11am so the guest who were checking out of the room they had choosen for their stay was still occupied. We offered them a different room that was ready for check-in and that allowed them to get some rest from the long train ride before heading out to explore the city.
Our staff is knoweldgeable about sites and restaurants within the historic district and are happy to make recommendations.
All 16 of our rooms are spacious and pictures of all the rooms can be viewed on the Inn's website, under the heading of Rooms from our homepage. All of the bathrooms have marble floors with granite counter tops. The Lofted Suites on the 4th flloor have large two person showers in the bathroom and the King, Queen, and rooms with two Double sized beds(we have 3 of them) all have a tub and shower baths.
A full plated breakfast as well as wine and hors d'oeuvres are included in the stay, as well as a turndown service while each guest is out for the evening.
We look forward to their return trip to Savannah and the Presidents' Quarters Inn

200 characters is not enough space to tell you how wonderful this place is. From the staff to the location in the Historic District. We arrived a little early and was greeted with the warmth and hospitality like I would receive from going to grandmas. Marie is AWESOME! Not only is she a great cook but a fantasic person as well. She hooked us up on where to go as a tourist and a local. Susan was also great with the plethora of information and history which we loved to hear. Place was so great I have already booked next week to go back and take my mother.
