“Great girl's week-end”

Azalea Inn and Gargends had been recommended to me by a cousin who owns a B&B in Scottland so I booked the lovely two rooms above the carriage house for a one night whirlwind stay in Savannah. The staff was wonderful and we were able to see more than normal as the staff guided us to the best places. The facility is everything an Inn should be and more. Nothing to disappoint here. My sisters, mom and myself already want to come back for more.

Room Tip: The Garden rooms above the carriage house were perfect for four adults. The porch was wonderful to...

My fiance and I recently spent 4 nights at the Azalea Inn & Gardens in Savannah. We knew that we were booking a little farther away from the River than most of the inns and hotels, but we ended being in the ideal location! The entire downtown area is only 1 square mile, so everything is in walking distance, and we did a TON of walking. We also used the Petticabs a time or two, which was a fun experience and an easy way to meet someone interesting. We thought the inn was great, although admittedly we didn't spend too much time there. We tended to be outside walking around, get a late afternoon drink at one of cafes or picking up some art. We had a great time and would definitely recommend the inn to friends.

We had a wonderful time at the Azalea Inn. The location is perfect for walking the town and the rooms very comfortable.

My husband & I celebrated our 25 wedding anniversary here and had a wonderful time. We were greeted at the door by a little four-legged fellow named Joey and from then on, it was nothing but wonderful. The place is beautiful and I cannot say enough about the food!!! OMG!!! We were serenaded to at breakfast one morning and met some wonderful people. Teresa made our dinner arrangements at a fabulous place on the River Front, she had our massage all lined up as well as our carriage ride back from our dinner. What more could you ever ask for??? It was a beautiful weekend to remember!!

I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had at Azalea Inn & Gardens. We stayed in the Cottage Garden House (1st floor). We debated back and forth over the rooms, so much so that by the time we booked, our first choice (Cotton Exchange) was booked. Our indecisiveness worked in our favor because the Cottage Garden was very private, romantic, and spacious. Breakfast every morning was a real treat with coffee, a great selection of hot teas, juice, and a variety of great breakfast sides and entrees. We had breakfasts ranging from banana pancakes with vanilla syrup to Mediterranean quiche. Breakfast always started out with fresh fruit ranging from broiled pineapple (delish!) to melon and plums. If the main entree wasn't bread based, there was always a muffin or bread to accompany the breakfast. The staff was truly attentive and mindful of the many food allergies and restrictions, including my own peanut allergy. We enjoyed chatting with all the guests, as well as the awesome staff and owner. Teresa, Collin, Kimberly, and Erin made sure we always felt welcomed and comfortable. We loved happy hour each day (except Sundays) with red or white wine and cheese and crackers, plus the special hor d'oeurve of the day. To top it off, we were delighted to come back after a long evening around town to some kind of sweet treat. My personal favorites were the oatmeal chocolate crumb bars and coconut macaroons. Our room was kept very clean, and I always felt a sense of security with my personal belongings. We enjoyed having access to a small kitchen area complete with a flat top stove, coffee maker, blender, dishwasher, and fridge! Wifi access was easily connected and fast. We only had to reset the router once, which quickly resolved the connectivity problem we had for a 20-30 minute window of time. The whirlpool tub was awesome, as was the rainfall shower head. The bed and linens were soft and luxurious. We were pleasantly surprised one afternoon to come back to our room and find sparkling wine and custom Azalea Inn champagne glasses in honor of our honeymoon. What a delight and a treat! I can only hope I have the pleasure of staying at this wonderful inn again in the future!

Room Tip: The only drawbacks we found staying in this room for 5 nights were: 1) We were able to hear the folk...

My husband and I were given the gift of a weekend in Savannah at this fabulous B&B by friends. We used the gift to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary and we had a fantastic time! From the moment we arrived, we knew that picked the perfect place to celebrate our milestone. The staff was awesome! The food was awesome! The room was awesome! Joey, the little dog, was AWESOME! The details, including the surprise bottle of champagne in our room, were impeccable! Although, we didn't get a chance to meet the owners during our stay, we still felt as if we were long lost friends...especially as my husband and I kicked our feet up on their porch and enjoyed a glass of wine and the sights of Savannah. A great way to spend our anniversary!!

Room Tip: We loved secluded Garden Cottage, which is away from the main house.

My husband and I spent three wonderful nights at the Azelia Inn. From the moment we entered we were made to feel at home. Teresa showed us around the Inn and to our room. We were there for my husband's birthday and to our surprise when we returned to our room that evening there was a bucket with champagne and flutes awaiting us. Every detail to make a comfortable stay had been thought of , down to the fabulous linens. The food was outstanding both for breakfast and the early evening appetizers. There also was sherry available in the evening along with desserts and we were encouraged to help ourselves. We would definitely return to the Inn and highly recommend it.Teresa and her staff were wonderful.
