“Off the beaten path but worth it!”
Reviewed April 22, 2013

On the south end of Forsyth Park this restaurant is worth the walk or cab. It is small, dark and romantic. The food was incredible and the service terrific. Terrace roof bar is fun to see also.

“Always fab!”
Reviewed April 13, 2013

We recommend to family and friends to check out while in Sav, and avoid overpriced tourist traps like Lady and Sons and Mrs. Wilkes. Great menu and you have to check out the outdoor bar upstairs!

“Charleston quality in Savannah”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

If you like quality food, sadly Savannah is no Charleston. Most restaurants in this city cater to an aging crowd that has long since lost their palate. The restaurants are tired, stuffy, and serve huge portions of food any home-cook could make in a crock-pot for $30-$50.

Local 11 Ten bucks that trend.

We arrived early to have a cocktail at Perch, their rooftop bar/lounge. It was southern trendy and worked well.

At 8:45 we went downstairs for our reservations in the restaurant and were taken to a small table in side room by the serving station. We politely declined the table in favor of a better one and decided to sit at the bar and have a drink while waiting.

There, we were greeted by a friendly bartender who knew his craft. So instead of waiting, we just decided to eat at the bar. This was a great decision. The service was excellent. We choose to order an bunch of appetizers and drinks instead of having full meals.

The timing of the food was excellent. We never felt rushed or waiting for more. The food itself was even better. Each dish was delivered in a logical order and tasted excellent.

After two excellent drinks, I just allowed the bartender to choose a proper pairing for each plate going forward. I was not disappointed.

This was our best (and only high quality) dining experience in Savannah. You won't be disappointed.

Tip: Arrive early for drinks upstairs and walk through Forsyth Park to and from the restaurant.

“Just right!”
Reviewed April 9, 2013

Goldilocks would not be wrong about this place..it's just right. Beautifully staged, very attentive staff, interesting food variety and just enough sophistication not to be snobby, yet just enough warmth not to feel "down home". Save dinner for a special occasion but have drinks often on the roof.
