The hotel is in a great location for walking to River Street and Broughton Street. The front desk is friendly. Ms. Mary, the concierge, is excellent. Our room was in the front. The noise level was not as bad as expected. We did have 1 out of 3 nights when the wind blew just the right way to carry the smell from the near-by paper mill pass the hotel. We liked the updated bathroom & furnishing (2-3 years ago). The free breakfast is convenient. You do have to pay for parking ($10). That is very reasonable for Savannah.
