This was a very pleasant B & B in Savannah. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Savannah GA.
The room we stayed in was spacious, very clean and plenty of amenities provided. We did stay at ground level or slightly below, but that may have been based on availibility at the time of booking. This was OK, but in a B & B, you always think of going upstairs and not down stairs to the basement.
Staying in the room did not take away from our experience at the Kehoe House. You couldn't ask for a better location. It is with walking distance of most everything in Savannah as far as the "need to see" places.
We would stay at the Kehoe House again, but would prefer to have a room on the upper levels. Book as early as you can for better selection. This B & B is very old and has the Savannah charm. It is right next to Columbia square with a fountain in it. Parking is nearby and there is an elevator in the Kehoe House as well.

Such a lovely B and B! With Southern Hospitality par excelance! Would return in a heart beat, and highly recommend this. It is situated close to everything!
We enjoyed very much the afternoon wine/cheese events, and the breakfast was well cooked to order and delicious!

Room Tip: Make sure that if you select a room, to make sure that they reserve it specifically. Also, some rooms have balconies off of them. Make a reservation for that early.

My wife and I enjoyed Easter week-end at Kehoe House in the spacious, very comfortable, and gracious "Mercer" bedroom. Mix of guests was outstanding, which contributed to the experience of enjoying communal breakfasts and evening periods of wine and hors d'oeuvre. Linens and towels were luxurious . . . property is very well maintained . . . and location is superior (even background noise of guides on passing tour buses was barely noticeable). Breakfasts were wonderful, and staff was very helpful (kudos, in particular, to Landon and Isis).

As proprietors of a B&B in another upscale & popular travel destination, we looked at our visit somewhat through the eyes of owners . . . as well as guests. And, Kehoe House is a "winner" all the way around.

My husband and I had a great time in Savannah. The attention we received at the Kehoe House by the staff made the trip memorable. We felt comfortable and pampered at the same time. We plan on returning soon.

Room Tip: In great weather try for a room with a veranda. As in all old houses the floors creak, so if you are not on the top floor, you may hear someone move about. I stayed on the second floor and on the bottom floor (under the main floor) and slept through the night in both locations.

If you're looking for a memorable Savannah experience, this is it! Not only is the grand old Kehoe House an architectural jewel, but all the staff go to great lengths to make sure you are comfortable and well cared for. The location to the historic squares is convenient, the rooms well appointed and the breakfasts are delicious! By all means, visit this great hotel

Room Tip: The balcony rooms are the best!
