We read about Cambria Suites on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. The staff really cares about their guests and continuously maintains a very welcoming atmosphere occassionally even socializing with the guests in the lobby/bar/restaurant area. The chefs here were great - we asked what they recommended and were not disapointed. Rooms were clean, modern, TV's and internet connections were great. A nice touch were the multiple charging station outlets where you could charge all of your electronic toys. Beds were very comfortable - with quality mattresses and bedding. The iron was also even a better quality than most - it didn't leak all over your clothes! Excellent, close parking and available luggage carts were a plesant surprise. The property also has a laundry room - that we did use; it was great. We stayed here 3 different times during a 2-week trip. No reason to go anywhere else. Excellent proximity to Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport. You would have no idea you were near the airport - the facilty was very quiet. Our only suggestion would be - request a room on the top floor so there is no one above you. One of our evenings we had a noisy neighbor upstairs. Definitely stay at this property - you will not be disappointed. It's an easy drive to the Historic District and upscale restaurants in Savannah.

When we arrived and got unpacked, we attempted to adjust our 4th floor suite temperature cooler. Despite our efforts and efforts of a nice maintenance guy, we had no luck. Our temp continued climbing and was 78 F before we had the hassle of moving to another suite on the 3rd flr. There are lovely, huge windows on the 4th flr but you may want to select a lower flr to avoid cooling problems; also if traveling with kids the 4th floor does not have a door separating the living area (with sleeper sofa) from the master bedroom area -- while there is a separating door in the 3rd floor suites. The maintenance guy said the cooling system is just not adequate to handle the afternoon sun pounding down on the big west windows of the 4th flr suite. Not sure if this is only the 4th flr suites with west windows. Things worked better in the 3rd flr suite for cooling but when we attempted to raise the temp to 75 after getting chilled in the rain; the fire alarm went off (we quickly turned temp down) & the place smelled a bit for a short while afterward. Otherwise we loved the modern decor, the big screen tv's, COMFORTABLE king bed, lovely bed linens & nice fluffy towels, deep bath tub. It was a very spacious suite with a small frig and micro. Buffet breakfast cost about $9-$10 and was good with premium-thick-slice bacon, eggs made-to-order, fruit salad, juices, tasty breakfast potatoes, some other items and premium coffee (but not the decaf). There was a jacuzzi that my husband liked and a small, indoor pool. Location was off the highway and eating places (largely chains), convenience stores and gas station very close. Convenient to the airport. Drive to historic district was short, but use your GPS to avoid highways at rush hours. Suite appeared quite clean. Responsive service from maintenance person who was also friendly and gave us some tips on local stuff.

We originally planned on staying in Savannah for one night--Once we stepped into our room and saw it, we immediately went back to the front desk and booked it for another night. It was very comfortable. Hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Room styling was modern, and extremely clean! Bath & Body Works items in the bathroom--that was a bonus. Good tea and coffee available in the rooms. The bed was very comfortable--we both slept like the dead.

We did not eat at the hotel, and chose instead to head down the street to grab breakfast, so no comment available on their breakfast selection. I do know it $10 a person for it, however.

The fitness center was beautiful & well equipped, along with a flatscreen TV in the gym. It had free weights!

Only a few minor issues: the hallways were hot. We used the pool & hot tub both evenings and they were open 24/7, which was nice. The hot tub needs to be resurfaced badly, however--it was rough and scratched our legs if we weren't careful in it. It was also a little on the small side, but it didn't bother us. The pool is very small, but the water temp was comfortable. The printer in their downstairs lobby was down, but the front desk staff noticed we were trying to use it, and let us print whatever we needed from the staff office.

Nothing bad to say--It was a great hotel room at a good price--I would have been happy to pay more for it. We loved our first visit to Savannah, and will absolutely be staying there again if we go back. It's about 25 minutes from the historic district, just a quick ride down 95 to the next exit south. It took us 40 minutes to reach Tybee Island from the hotel.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for taking the time to write comments regarding your stay. It is always a pleasure to read our guests honest comments so that we can learn what we do well in addition to the areas that we can improve on. I apologize that one of the units was not working to its full potential. The air conditioner system in that room has been inspected and a repair made so that no future guest will encounter the same issue. Thanks again and we look forward to your next visit. - Cheryl GM

Trying to find a "safe" hotel for the family on our way to Disney, this hotel seemed like it would fit the bill. Boy did it ever! Great location, right off the highway but far enough away not to hear noise. I was kind of hesitant because I was unfamiliar with Cambria. But it looks like a first class hotel stepping into the lobby. Fresh and clean. Rooms were very nice. Fold out sofa for our youngest gave her a room with her own television, which then had the other two arguing as to who was going to sleep there. Wonderful beds. Great pillows. Nice bath. Plenty of room for our family of five to be comfortable. Can't say enough good stuff. Apples for the kids were a great late night/on the road snack, too.

This attractive and CLEAN hotel was one my whole family enjoyed. Its location was in a quiet setting, but very near the highway. There was a gas station right in the attached lot and it was close to local atmosphere. The kids enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed looking around the area and getting local food. It was a perfect place to stop on our way to Disney, and also quite close to easily get to the heart of Savannah for sight seeing.
