“Cute neighborhood spot”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 8, 2013

We. walked there from the historic district. It was nice to get out and walk took us only 15 minutes top. The shop looks old-fashioned and vintage. In addition to a bakery, there's a food menu. We ordered a grill cheese, ham and cheese sandwiches, and later ordered cupcakes to go. The sandwiches are so cheesy and delicious. I actually had to take some cheese out of my grill cheese becuase it was so hot and gooey. And possibly cooked in butter. No matter, it was good. We got red velvet cupcakes to go. I didn't get around to eating one until the next day, and it was still fresh and delicious. This is definitely a neighborhood jewel that is far removed from the touristy area. Glad we found it, and we'll definitely go again.

“Best Bakery in Town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2013

Wanted to visit this bakery after reading their cookbook. It was a good as I expected! It is located a few miles from downtown, so transportation is needed to get there. Great vintage feel, with delicious food. We ordered the Basil Pesto & Fontina Panini a Chocolate Heaven cupcake and a Cinnamon-Sugar-Doughnut Muffin. The bread is made in house. Both cupcakes were scrumptious. The frosting on the chocolate one is as good as people say and I am dying to eat another Cinnamon-Sugar-Doughnut Muffin. We tested many cupcakes in Savannah during our trip and these were the best!

“Delicious!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2013

We stopped here on our way out of Savannah and purchased a ham and cheese pastry. My wife and I thought we would split it on the way home. My biggest mistake was only getting one! Savannah is known for good food and this pastry was one of the best things I've ever had here or anywhere else. Next time we'll stop here on the way in and then load up on the way out!

We went very late in the day and only sampled a couples of varieties of cookies. All were great and the bakery is so cute and very vintage. Loved it!

“Loved it!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 22, 2012

We stopped here at the beginning of a road trip through low country and grabbed sandwiches and cookies to go. I only wish we would have gotten more! The cold pressed coffee was perfect and the lavender cookies were amazing. The ambiance is adorable, too. I loved this place and all its southern charm.
