Been to Savanna the last 3 years and each time have experienced the Gryphon several times. This time My wife and I ate at the Gryphon Tea Room 4 times and stopped for coffee and tea another time. One of those times was Brunch on Sunday. Madeline and Katie run a tight operation and keep the place flowing. All the personnel is very efficient and help each other out. Great attitude and always a smile. One can sense they really enjoy their work. Menu was changed since last yeat and it was not a dissapointment. Had the Smoked Salmon BLT, Salad, Brunch, Cobbler w/homemade-icecream, Crepes, Cappuccino, Vanilla Tea, Cinnamon Tea, Macaroons, Soup, Turkey Sandwhich. Yes, there is man-food at the Gryphon as long as you like to explore and have an open mind. If you are a meat and potatoes or Fried-Food eater, skip this place. If you like fresh ingredients and brave food taste combinations, this is your place! All ingredients are always so fresh. Highly recommend it. Before our 8 hour Drive to Alabama we stopped there one more time. I wish we had something like this in the Huntsville area.

We just popped in to take a peak around and grab a lemonade and espresso. It's absolutely adorable inside. It was filled with women with just 1 gentleman in the entire restaurant. The atmosphere was inviting enough for me to definitely plan lunch here on our next visit.

My wife and I had an outstanding lunch here. Quality ingredients obviously are used. I had the smoked salmon BLT, artichoke & tomato soup and finished with blueberry cobbler topped with homemade ice cream. All very good.
