Great Tour! Toured around with Joe and had a fabulous time with my teen cousin and 10 year old daughter. He tailored the tour so it would not affend the kids. Really fun and worth the visit.

“Loved our Tour Guide/Driver”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

The only reason I gave this review 4 stars instead of 5 is because the seats on the hearse were very cramped and uncomfortable. BUT...our driver/guide LAURA, was fabulous. We loved her. So personable. We felt as though we had known her forever. We would have loved to spend more time with her.

“Dawn of the Dead Rules!”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

My daughter and my mom and I were on vacation in Tybee Island/Savannah for the 4th holiday. We wanted to take a ghost tour of Savannah on our last night in town. I had read many reviews of the hearse ghost tours an many said wonderful things about Dawn (of the dead). When she picked us up at our hotel and introduced herself as Dawn, I replied "Dawn of the Dead?" She seemed a little perplexed that I had heard of her.
Anyhow -what an exceptional tour guide! Being a native Savannahian, she knew all the "haunts" and was a great story teller! All in all, a fun and interesting tour of Savannah! If you want a great tour of the historic district with interesting and kinda creepy stories, this is the ghost tour to take!

“Oh Yeahhhhhh!!”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

After reviewing "Hearse Ghost Tours", my fiance and I were kinda shaky on a $15 ghost tour. As they say, "you get what you pay for". We called to reserve a spot for the night we arrived in Savannah. The lady on the phone was very helpful and informative. She scheduled us with some guy who had just started this summer. Not really something we were looking forward to. On a historic ghost tour, i think id rather an experienced tour guide, not someone whos reading from an info sheet. So, due to our travel time, outside temp and hunger, we called back to reschedule for the next day and hopefully get the "Infamous PEG LEG RON". She was more than happy to oblige & rescheduled us. The next day when we called to confirm, she told us we were all set with Ron & advised us not to put $ in the meters after 5. A mistake most people make, as parking is free after 5. And dont forget its a real PAIN to find parking! We actually circled the area about 4 times but eventually scored on a great spot in front of the hotel pickup location. So, how bout he really has a prosthetic leg! Crazy! I thought it was just a crazy nickname... Anyway, one of the coolest guides ever!!! Funny, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He tells a hell of a ghost story, and there are plenty! There were 4couples, including us in the hearse. A very unique car, despite the extremely uncomfortable seats. So, i guess with that being said, Peg Leg more than makes up for it! Definitely worth th $15 plus tip. If your on a budget and are looking for something different and touristy, its a must!! Thanks Ron! :)

“Worth the ride”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

It is not scary but they do focus on the macabre more than regular tours. It gives another perspective on Savannah. Very inexpensive and everyone seeing the hearse seems to have a reaction. Many people on the street talk to you and make scary sounds as you drive around. It was fun.
