“The most romantic getaway”

My boyfriend and I wanted a romantic getaway over the Christmas Holidays, so we decided to visit Historic Savannah and stay at The Olde Savannah Inn. The experience was more than we envisioned!!!!!!!!!! This elegant inn from the 1800's offered us with everything we wanted: history and luxury. I would greatly recommend staying at the Versailles Court Room (although all of the rooms are amazingly decorated). I fell in love with everything about it. Especially with it's marbeled bathroom that included a whirlpool and 2 antique tubs (his and hers). This Bed and Breakfast is exquisitely decorated with antique furnitures (one room even has furniture from the Waldorf Astoria). Your stay in this Bed and Breakfast will provide you with first class and personalized service . Also, it was very clean.I must mention that the three course breakfast we had every morning (wich is included in your stay) was outstanding and everything you crave for in order to start the day and your adventure before touring th beautiful city filled with amazing history and mystery !!! You must visit the website!!

My husband and I highly recommend this B&B. The service was very personalized and the morning breakfast meals were off the charts. I am still thinking about the Creme Brule French toast she made and her homemade whipped cream, which was the best we ever had. We have been married 18 years and have stayed at quite a few B&B's and this one was the best so far. Everything about this place is awesome. Kathleen makes this place what it is. We stayed in the Versailles Room (the one with the roman jacuzzi tub) and the tub had mood lighting inside the water, which was quite a treat! The place was very clean and the bed was unbelievable. The room we stayed in was very private and quiet with a nice view. The rooms are exactly as the website depicts, which sometimes is not the case. I would recommend also eating at Paula Dean's restaurant while in Savannah as well. This trip was exactly what we wanted and we will be back again for sure. Wish we could have stayed longer than two nights, but Kathleen made it a very perfect Christmas for us. Loved the black lab (Dakota), which gives the place a very warm cozy feeling in addiction to her exquisite decorating. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay with Kathleen at her Inn. When we arrived, a small wedding was about to ensue in the front room next to an enormous Christmas tree and gorgeous French Renaissance decor. Kathleen was very welcoming as she invited us to our room. We melted into the comfortable furniture and quickly relaxed. In the morning, our breakfast was delicious...everything on the plate was arranged beautifully and the taste and quantity didn't compare to any other places we've stayed. This is truly a gem in Savannah. Kathleen's personal touch and warmth made us feel at home. We plan to return for a longer stay!

We loved our stay at the Olde Savannah Inn. It is a beautiful place and close to all of the famous squares of the historic district. Our room was incredible--full of beautiful antiques and soft down comforters, with a romantic fireplace, and a bathroom that was huge and impeccably clean. Kathleen, our amazing hostess, thought of everything we needed before we even knew we needed it. We are still talking about the gourmet breakfasts she served. We have stayed in many, many B&Bs. This is now at the top of our list.

This was our first visit to the Old Savannah Inn and it exceeded our expectations. The accomodations are first class and the exquisite breakfast is unbelievable. It is conveniently located within easy walking distance to many sights to see in Savannah. If your travels take you to Savannah, you won't go wrong pampering yourself with a stay at this wonderful B&B!

Kathleen was amazing. As soon as we stepped in the house she gave us hugs and welcome us so warmly! My husband even said that Kathleen felt like his mom! The rooms were impeccable in cleanliness. We stayed in the Bellevue room which was a bit small and doesn't have windows..but who stays in the room much anyways? The location was excellent we were able to walk everywhere! We had a gas fireplace which we loved and the bed was SOOOO comfortable. We were also greeted with warm cookies and water in our rooms!! Ohh the food....i have been at many B&B's and the food is to die for!! Most of the time you don't get much food at B&B but that is not the case here!! We would have 5 or so courses for breakfast!! The french toast creme brulee was the best!! We were so full that we didn't even eat again until dinner. And let me just say that there is nothing better than coming home to a warm dessert after dinner-one night it was chocolate torte and then we had raspberry scones and chocolate brownies! She was constantly asking if she could do anything or if we need anything. Let's not forget Dakota the dog! He is so sweet and don't worry if you aren't a dog lover he walks around and occasionally begs but he won't bark or bother you at all. I promise if you stay here you will LOVE it!
