We have been coming to Savannah for the past six years and have taken all of the ghost tours available. We have to say that this was probably the best one we have ever taken. It was a nighttime walking tour withChristopher Thomas, i hope i got his name right he is from Brooklyn. He was VERY entertaining and we learned so much more about the various buildings than ever before. I do wish they could add the Sorel-Weed house where you go inside because that is the scariest place ive ever been. Our guide made sure that everybody could hear him and included everyone in viewing his pictures. We lagged behind everyone due to my wife's athritis and he was very mindful of our problem and didnt start talking until we were close enough to hear. We were in a very young gtoup we were the oldest by far. He disnt seem to mind or become frustrated at all. What a guide!!! Finally, I wanted to mention that he never asked either directly or by inuendo regarding a tip. We wanted to tip him but he bever mentioned it so we felt that it might embarass him. So, i think that maybe the company should put it on the brochure or in the text that tips are welcome. Overall a great experience and will take this tour again because it was so interesting. Thx.

First of all: let me be clear: we had a great time on our walking tour and although I can't say I was "spooked" at any moment, the stories our guide told us are intriguing and tell you a lot about (local) history.

This being said, I was hoping to see and discover a bit more of Savannah. To do more actual walking (especially since it was freezing cold and standing still for 10-15 minutes listening is -although interesting- not very warming). All in all we visited maybe 5-6 places, all situated in a small area from the starting point. I think most people (we did at least) do these kind of tours, not just for the ghost stories, but for a fun way to discover hidden places and tales of a city you're visiting. It would haven been great if we would have been able to see more of the city.

Finally, I think this tour is really overpriced. We paid 30$ each, and there were about 20 people in the tour. Advanced booking via their website is mandatory, so they knew well beforehand that this tour was going to be.. overcrowded. Not that it mattered that much, but for this price, we expected a more intimate tour.

Awesome tour. I was concerned that a ghost tour was going to be cheesy and filled with folklore without any real back up info, but this tour gave historical background information, cited sources, had newspaper articles as well as photos along with their paranormal anecdotes. Christopher was very knowledgable and entertaining as a tour guide. As a matter of fact, when a (pain in the [--]) lady on the tour kept brining up things she "knew", he knew all the details and would either support her claims or inform her that he in fact had heard the same folklore, but chose not to include those details in his tour because certain stories did not come with confirmed legitimate back up. To me that legitimatized the tour. Excellent time. Not corny at all and very spooky.

Nice little tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and humorous. It was a chilly night so be sure to dress warm if the temps look low. Be careful walking as some of the sidewalks are very old and uneven. Try to stay on the sidewalks as some locals forget to pick up after their dogs!
