We had lunch here. Would recommend for dinner too. Great food and nice atmosphere, more classy than all the tourist places. Do not hesitate to dine here.

Thank Karen L

We did not have reservations but were seated right a way. The service was great from the time we entered util we left. The food was great and large portions. Fair pricing. Will not leave hungry.

We ate at Vic's the first night of our three night stay in Savannah because it was within a short walk from our hotel on the riverfront. We came away very happy with our decision and would go back in a heartbeat. Great food, great location, and great service.

We could have ordered the whole menu but settled for three dishes which were fabulous; the crawfish beignets, the chicken liver sliders and the crobb salad. All delicious. We were given a table with a window view of the river and our server Robert turned out to be a gem with wonderful suggestions for our visit.

I'm not sure what was going wrong at Vic's last night, but it is clear that nothing was going right. We waited quite a long time for our food (mains arrived more than 2 hours after we ordered). Our server had no idea why it took so long for the food to come out. The management didn't take control of the situation, the servers weren't advised to explain what was happening. It was bizarre. At one point, we noted that no one at any table in the restaurant had food on their table! We heard other diners complaining about the slow service, and 5 of our party of 9 left prior to receiving the main courses (at least the restaurant didn't try to charge for the food that wasn't delivered). It was a strange evening. I wish the management had acted properly, explained to patrons what was going on, etc. All we heard was a story about someone dropping a tray in the kitchen. That didn't do much to address our questions of why the service was so slow. I felt sorry for the servers, who lost out on tips and who were apparently muzzled by management - or were also being kept in the dark.
This was not Savannah at it's best.
