perfect location -- overlooks the water and by all the beautiful savannah homes you always hear about. Menu is packed with different seafood options, the only downside is that most of it is fried. They were however very accomodating to the vegetarians at the table, offering to make any and all custom built suggestions. I had the scallops which were delicious and just a light amount of breading, and I had the peach cobbler for dessert which you MUST save room for -- heaven in your mouth :)

Out on LaRoche, it is a bit of a drive to find it, but well worth the trip. It used to be Pearl's Elegant Pelican. Nice little hot hush puppies served with honeyed butter, yum! Good fresh seafood, well cooked. Good service.

Pearl's has had an uneven history. But for the last year or so they've consistently offered great food. The view is always spectacular. Lights along the shore reflect in the marsh. Their fried green tomatoes topped with chipotle shrimp is an appetizer but teamed with a bowl of their she crab soup, it makes a meal. Ask for some sherry to top the soup. Many come for their southern fish boil. A large basket of hush puppies was served Friday night. You can never eat them all and they're delicious. We were almost relieved when their equipment was down Sunday night. The rolls were fine. Casual place. Good time.

a really great place to eat - not too pricey and something for everyone. The wait staff was fabulous and very attentive and helpful. Both managers came to our table to check on our food and see if we were satisfied. Very pleasant experience - I would definitely go back here!!

This restaurant was recommended to us and I am glad we went! The view of the marsh was fantastic. So peaceful - the only negative was we got there at 7 and didn't get to see the view for very long as the sun set.

Our server was fantastic. We had a carriage ride set for 9 so we let her know that we we needed to eat in a timely matter. She made it happen! The food was delish! I had swordfish with risotto and it was some of the best I've ever had. Everyone had a great time.

The noise level is "energetic" so if you don't like loud places this isn't for you. Come for the view, the food and great service!
