This restaurant specializes in Persian and Greek food. The wife is the cook while the husband is the owner. They are both gracious and welcoming.
We had the chicken the beef Shish Kebobs. They were both very tender. Both were accompanied with wonderful Basmati Rice (one with Barberries, pistachio and almonds, while the other rice had lentils).
The food was so good that we decided to return two nights later to try the Greek menu. We had the trio of Mousaka, Pastichio and Spanakapita. These were also very good and were accompanied with their rice (this time we opted for the rice with orange). Being a Saturday night, we were entertained by a belly dancer while we enjoyed our meal.
Highly recommended and well worth a visit.

Dinner May 23. Unimpressive furnishings and ambience. But, the chef knows how to cook and delivers flawlessly. We ordered baba ganoush for an appetizer. We could not finish the more than ample serving. We split a Greek salad two ways. It was sufficiently sized to serve four. We ordered one chicken shish kabob and one filet mignon shish kabob. Each came with sauteed vegetables and an outstanding rice preparation. Neither of us could finish the servings. The restaurant is small with not much sound absorbing capability, so it will be noisy when busy. Our server was very pleasant and efficient. We walked to the restaurant, so don't know about parking. A small negative is the serving sizes, too much food. Overall, an outstanding food experience.

My husband and I stopped in on a Friday night for an early dinner. We sat up on the little balcony. The waitress offered us the wine menu, but we just ordered an inexpensive Pinot Grigio and a beer.
The menu has lots of appetizer choices. We got a sampler of 4 ($18) which came with very hot and fresh pita bread. Good, but a little too sweet. Very generous servings of hummus, tzatziki with fresh dill, babaganoush and fried calamari. Not enough pita for the apps, so we ordered more which the waitress warned us would be an extra $ 2.
Split a very large platter. Grilled chicken and ground chicken skewers. Easily enough for two, with delicious rice with almonds, pomegranate seeds, etc.
Everything was very fresh, the chicken pieces were nice and large so they weren't overcooked and dry, like so many kabobs can be.
Right on "main Street" Broughton and a nice change from Southern cooking. Other dishes we saw looked great; Greek salad, spanakopita etc.
We'll be back.

I have the good fortune to visit Savannah on a frequent basis and visiting new restaurants is a special treat. I LOVE southern cooking and the nicer tourist restaurants in Savannah are not to be missed, but this new addition is not only surprising good - it's relatively healthy. Last Friday we had hummus as an appetizer which was fresh and tasty. Then we split a kabob that featured chicken and beef with shirin rice (amazing) and mixed vegetables. The portions are huge and they didn't have any issue with us sharing. It's sad that I have to take my northern diet portions to the south with me, but I guess that's my problem! The food is served in very generous portions so keep that in mind when ordering. The exotic spices and excellent preparation are a fun addition to the restaurant community and a welcome change of pace. I hope the proprietors add some fabric to the walls on the second floor - the low ceiling and shape of the space make the acoustics weird and I had a hard time hearing the waiter with so much background noise. Don't miss this place if you have the chance - it's wonderful.

The food was so tasty and different. A nice change from seafood and barfood. Cozy but nice. They were short-staffed so service was slow. But worth the wait.
