“First Thing You Should Do”

Take a tour of the city first. You can get on and off at 13 stops. There are lots of tour companies but we took this one. The tour guides were good and funny. Didn't like that they made everyone switch busses at the Visitor Center. The ghost tour was disappointing considering it is potentially a very haunted city. Bonaventure Cemetary is not on the tour so, if you want to see that, have your hotel set that tour up separately.

“Best way to see Savannah if you don't want to walk all over!”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

Our first driver on the Trolley tour was funny and had so many great stories! It was very nice to be able to hop on and off the trolley which gave you the ability to see so very much of Savannah in a day! Definitely would not have wanted to drive and park and drive and park all day and it felt like 100 degrees outside so walking all day would not have been too fun either. This was a GREAT option and we will use it each time we visit Savannah! It's also very nice to get picked up and dropped off at your hotel/inn!

“A great way to see Savannah”
Reviewed October 9, 2012

If you have not visited Savannah before, this is a great way to get a lay of the land. Couple the trolley tour with a stay at a downtown inn or hotel and you will have made the two greatest choices of your visit. The trolley tour allowed us to get a feel for where all the major historical sites were in relation to each other. The tour has on-and-off privileges so when we came upon a site we wanted to visit we got off the trolley and boarded another one when we were done. If you are staying in Savannah for a while, getting a multiple day trolley may be worth it so you can break up the sites by proximity and travel various sections over multiple days. The tour drivers did a great job of making the history of Savannah interesting and funny. Finally, because we stayed downtown, we were able to walk to places that we found interesting without having to board the trolley for a second day. The only warning I would give- if you visit Savannah when there is a major event or festival either board the trolley early or just walk because there may be long lines at the trolley stops.

“Savannah's Paula Deen Old Town Trolley Tour”
Reviewed October 8, 2012

My friends and I had the best time on this tour! Cindy was our guide and she was excellent! She kept us laughing with the many tales she had about Paula Deen plus the many sights we saw along the tour. Savannah is a beautiful city and so full of history. This tour was worth every penny we paid for it. I would do it all over in a minute just to see the beautiful city again and hear the stories as only Cindy can tell them. We also loved shopping at Paula's store and eating lunch there without having to wait in line. A perk of the trolley trip. Even though you can go to Paula's without purchasing a trolley tour, I would totally recommend you purchase the trolley ticket for the entertainment value! Priceless! Order your trolley tour in advance as this one sells out often.

“Informative tour, lousy seats”
Reviewed October 8, 2012

The Old Town Trolley tour was very interesting and informative. It is great you can get on and off all through out the day. We learned a lot about Savannah and the downtown districts. All the drivers were very informative and friendly. It is worth the money. My two complaints are: the seats on the trolley are park benches and they lean back too far. My back was really hurting upon the completion of the tour. Secondly, there is no where to sit at the trolley stops. I was all right standing but there were many senior citizens on the tour and there was no where to sit while waiting for the next trolley. I have to say, they did come along within the 20 minutes that they said, but 20 minutes for a older person can be a long time.
