“The food was great!”
Reviewed March 22, 2014

We truly enjoyed our dining experience at The Olde Pink House. The wait staff and management were great! I ordered something that wasn't on the menu...they tried but couldn't. Not everyone can make banana's Foster!

“Charming staff and restaurant”
Reviewed March 22, 2014

Very friendly and chatty staff even those not serving our table who were more than content to encourage diners see the other rooms. This restaurant is in the earliest governor's house in Savannah. It has an interesting history. We dined downstairs in the room off to the right and probably the ground floor dining areas are the best ones to be. There is a "ballroom" which is beautifully decorated but is not original which is of cavernous proportions. However, wherever you are seated, it will be interesting. The employees are clearly very happy and proud to be working there. We were encouraged to have a look around the different rooms, and it was definitely worth doing it, what a fascinating building.
The Food looked great and tasted good. The wine list is fairly hefty in terms of varieties of wine offered, but reasonable prices are easily found. It just needs a little delving O. Ur server was Happy, who is a delightful man, passionate about his work and who clearly loves what he does. The service was extremely good.

We did visit the basement bar. It looks excellent and was very busy on the occasion we were there.
This is probably worth trying as well.

It is vital to make a reservation for the restaurant.

“Wow!”

The reviews are correct - this is a fabulous restaurant! Aim for the tavern on the lower floor for a cozy and unique experience, and see for yourself why the BLT salad has won national acclaim!

“Fine Dining”
Reviewed March 22, 2014

Worth a detour. Great surroundings, quality food. Even if you are in the new "ballroom" the owners have gone to some lengths to ensure that you are dining in an environment in concert with the more traditional rooms of the house.
