“Tour of Savannah”
Reviewed November 16, 2012

My wife and I have been to Savannah several times, but this was the first time we had taken a tour. Old Savannah Tours is a trolley ride through the historic parts of Savannah, Georgia. Our tour guide Kathleen Green was professionally animated in her deliveries. We even met Forrest Gump and a pirate and an Irish lass!! The city is beautiful and the tour company has found the ideal route to take tourists on. We highly reccomend this tour to anyone going to Savannah for the first time.

“Lovely Afternoon with a southern gent”
Reviewed November 16, 2012

Went on a wonderful tour last week with Stuart of Old Savannah Tours. He was so interesting that we stayed on the tour and did not get off on the stops. Wanted to hear all he had to say about Savannah. We had purchased the day pass. So we took the entire tour with Stuart and then went back and saw the sites. Savannah is a wonderful city. Go on the Savannah Tour ask for Stuart.

“Great overview of Historic Savannah”
Reviewed November 15, 2012

Our friends treated us to a 90 minute overview of Historic Savannah via tour trolley. This is a great way to get acquainted with the city. There are a number of different tours available and you can get off and on if you so desire. This city is so rich with history. Our driver told history-related stories of people and places in a highly entertaining way. He also pointed out many places along the way where movies had been filmed. It was a nice cool day so we didn't mind that it was not air-conditioned, in fact we preferred it because with no windows, we were able to photograph sights along the way. We will definitely go back and do a self-guided walking tour to take better pictures. There is so much history, it is hard to absorb all of it in one visit.

“Driver Talk”
Reviewed November 14, 2012

Because it is an on and off tour -- we had several drivers -- and different expeiences.
Of thr four driver -- one excellent -- the other were good. The Excellent driver was Dennis. He spoke clearly and gave very good information with no so so jokes. No man spoke clearly but had the volume to high. One women did not speak clearly and was hard to understand.

Suggest you have dennis train some of the other drivers.

“An enjoyable way to spend the day”
Reviewed November 13, 2012

You don't really need a trolley in Savannah for transportation, as is the case in many other cities. It's just a lovely way to get your bearings and hear some great commentary. We thought it was well worth the fee, just for the historical anecdotes and context for the places we stopped to get a closer look. Very enjoyable. And we appreciated being picked up from our hotel in the morning.
